  5. Is there any one on here that posts regularly, who is a member of a active skydiving club (Like Frontier), who would be willing to share with me a copy of their bylaws? I am trying to write some bylaws for a club, and am searching for a place to begin. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks...blue skies, Mark So, you bring your beer? 6. Just recently bought the wife a phone to replace the one that got ran over by the car..yeah after it droped out of her coat pocket. When i was at the Verizon store, the clerk told me that a lot of the razor's are being returned for not working, or repairs, No experience myself. But that was enough to convince me that I would just stick with my old reliable clam shell type. Mark So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  7. A little James Bondish I might say. Very cool. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  8. Mike, you really should update your profile to include your riggers qualifications, that may alieve some of the discussion on who knows what the bestest! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  9. I seem to think that I tend to agree with Mr. Swartz on this statement. The DZ that Mike works at "is" well represented of almost all gear manufactures and just not what is popular. Yes, there does seem to be a trend toward "canopy" manufacture for both main and reserves, but for the most part if your smart enough to ask, like the original poster, then your one step ahead of a lot of other jumpers. I for one jump at that DZ, and I did not get a main that was represented by the "mainstream", nor my reserve or container for that matter. But, I did ask, received lots of valued information, choose what to keep, threw out the BS, and made my own "informative" choice. Just as most jumpers "should". Mark So, you bring your beer? 12. Jumped from miss Polka Dot, only seat is 1) Pilot's and 2) the small seat across the back from starbord to port side. We don't usually have a seat per say in the C/P spot, just floor space. We usually get in 9, but when it comes down to it, with any of us big guys in it, 8 is more prefered as it does get tight to even get the door closed. But again, as someone said, once the door is open, its huge, and easily one of the better side door exiting aircraft around. But that is IMHO. So, you bring your beer? 13. yes 2 is a lot better as we can clearly see. I envy your desk space. I'm stuck in this little corner, lots of us know it, really teeeny tiiny bit of room. love your wall paper So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  14. Call the dentist's office for the quick fix. It is temporary until the correct adhesive can be reapplied. I do believe they use baking soda and water and make a paste to glue it back in or something like that. Heard it works pretty good too. Any dental tech's out here??? So, you bring your beer? 16. Yes, this person is for "real" as you would put it. For those brave enough to want to take a peak, here is a profile of this gentleman as it was given to me by a friend, who just "googled" it. Public knowledge. I do like to share information. http://www.plentyoffish.com/member1238926.htm So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  17. Yes he is. And, a friend of mine sent me a profile that he has posted on a dating web site. Guess what...same photo. Plus a few others. I'm waiting for him to get back to me to make sure it is ok to use the link. It is sorta funny. In a funny sorta way. Hahahahahah.. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

  19. Well said Jimmy. Now, I'm not one for bashing, unless you FRIGIN EARNED IT!!!! I stuck my hand out and told him to PM me and I would talk with the DZO at Erie Skydivers if he has gotten any emails from him. And, what I could do if anything to expedite his request. Well, he has never PM'd me and asked me anything. So, I call the DZO's better half today. Seems he has emailed them constantly. Well over 50 emails since this all began. They have emailed him back, attempted to answer his questions, and even gave him the contact phone number to call them if he would like to schedule a class. Well he sends them an email (from what I can tell from what was read to me) demanding that he be scheduled for a specific date, and time, and that he had better dammed well get his money's worth. And that he has allready sent them a check in the mail demanding a reserved spot for that specific date. I was told that there was a snail mail received and that he didn't even put the required amount on the check to reserve a spot. But, what makes it even better is that they have now just decided to ignore him as we all should. They honestly hope that he showes up on the exact date that he has requested, and time as well. So that they can personally give him his check back, and politely ask him to leave. Moderaters, isn't there a way to ban him?? I know that the owner of the dropzone has saved all the emails that he keeps sending them. And, they have given me permission, if you request it, to give you ( any moderator) their home number if you want to verify this. So Jimmy...wow dude...lets just say we have been all a little over cautious and now can See ya all at Batavia!!!! Mark edited for personal attacks So, you bring your beer? 20. John, I'm a member of the club. PM me with what you need to know. We disconnect the phone at the DZ during the winter months to save money. No one there to answer it but the squirrels. Be nice people. Your photo's are not that nice either sometimes. Bwhhaaaaaa... So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  21. I've done both on my Safire2 229. I enjoyed the psycho for ease of packing vs. the pro packing method. The psycho packing method produced a "softer" opening for me, but also snivled longer. Have not had any discernable differances in openings otherwise. Stay with what you know. Its all good. Great Canopy! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  22. I 2nd the embroidery work on the side panels. Looks awsome. Now...whats some stitch work like that gonna run us on our rig??? humm....nice 1 Ankie...Mark So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  23. Yes and NO. Had an accident today in the Semi..no one hurt, just took an aluminum highway sign almost through the driver side window. Couple of scraps is about it on the truck. Guess thats what happens when you try to implant an aluminum sign through a windshield at 55mph. But all is well, my daughter said she prays for me so that must have been it if you believe in that Power. Wife took me out to dinner. So. now that I am calm and have replaced my insides back where they belong...All is grand again
  24. I don't care who ya r, that theres funny! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  25. I wear one. My wife got me a gold pin for Christmas and I quickly put it onto the necklace that she also gave me years ago that I had worn forever. On that necklace were three small pendants (faith, hope, and charity). This past month after a day at work, I was home taking off my boots, and the closing pin fell out of the top of my boots. I looked and yes the necklace was gone along with the three other pendants. It had somehow broken and worked its way down and out of my clothing. The only item left, the gold closing pin. We were searching for the necklace forever (yes it was hopeless as it could have been in a bizillion places) and have recently decided to purchase a bigger and stronger necklace. But I feel there has to have been some Karma because the pin was the only thing found. My wife was there for my 1st jump, my 1st solo, my graduation from AFF, my 1st cutaway, and yes my 100th. So it is symbolic, and definately super special to me, just as my Wife is! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
