  1. Lets see about the 1st photo: Red shirt, White Shirts. Red ties, Black Ties, 1 tie undone. 1 pair tennis shoes, other dress shoes. The only thing that is constant is that they all have their bootanier(sp) the same color and on the same side. Looks like a WV wedding to me! So, you bring your beer? 2. Just from your description of the built in turn, I too had the same thing happen to me, minus the biffed in landing. I did have to do a great PLF, rolled about 3 times, and said DAMM that sucks. Sent the canopy back, *(same as yours) they checked it out and jumped it. Had the same built in turn for them. They replaced the reserve with a brand new one, free of charge. Give them a call and see what they will do for you. Good Luck. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

  4. I have my inclination that if you look deep enough anywhere you go, even here on DZ.com...you will find a clique. And yes, I have also found out that when jumping at "clubs" the atmosphere tends to be more fun jumping with everyone then just jumping with a select few. But hey, there is only so much room on a 182...so you gotta get to know us one way or the other. LOL. Blues.. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  5. Nobody here thinks they are ellite, people here just have a sense of humour and get a giggle out of some questions that we could never imagine being asked. _______________ Although you may think that no one here thinks they are elite....just look around at almost any DZ and there are always a few. The ones that can't be bothered even by a skydiving brother or sister to make a jump with them or pass on the love. If you haven't seen it then maybe your only jumping at a one jumper DZ...Blues So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

  12. At around 42+-seconds you transitioned to your belly, that is when you actually speed up a little more then your Sit. After your transition, and your belly deceleration you were at approx. 115 when you deployed. Anyone see any different?? So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

  15. I wouldn't say that I open a thread based upon the author, but there are some authors threads that get responded to no matter how lame or stupid based upon the author. As well as some good threads go unread and unresponded to just as well because the author is not a pw as well. Food for eating. Beer for drinking. So, you bring your beer? 17. We recently adopted this same idea after one of our jump pilots gave us a class on fall rate of a 182 with the door open. We have since changed our way of thinking, and our plan, seat belts on/off at 1500' as well. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  18. What really sucks is this,,,I grew up in the valley, Yakima Valley that is. And I have fished a lot out of Grays harbor as well, worked a fishing boat in the summer over there for Bran Lee Charters. The bad thing is, more money in apples. So the Gov. of WA must have never really traveled the state much to see the entire wonderfulness of the entire State. Sorta like well I live on western side of the State, so the valley can kiss my ass. Oh well....I for one would like to see the #'s that the vote really was. Then I wouldn't be so damm upset, but I for one like the silver and king too...Big Fish ON!! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

  20. I was home on vacation in Yakima when she erupted. I still have pictures in an album showing the sun fading and our day turning into darkness. Still remember the ash falling and the days upon days of cleaning it up around my parents property. Just might have to get those pics scanned. So, you bring your beer? 22. Yesterday, I went to church for the 1st time in a long time. It was all good. I listened very closely, and I actually learned something great. Then, I got the honor of watching my daughter, who has Apert Syndrome, walk across the stage, address the congreation, tell us why she has accepted God into her life as her saviour. And I got to Witness her being baptised. What a Great Day to breath. I hope yours was as Great as mine was. Till next time...Blue skies.... So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  23. Took Scott's course last year. Wonderful teacher, great class. Learned a lot about myself and my canopy skills. I believe it was a necessary step in my skills, as did a lot of the more "advanced" pilots there. It would surprise me if someone ever said it did not help them in some way or that they did not benefit from it. Well worth the money and time. Mark So, you bring your beer? 24. Dave- got them. Thank you very much. Will be looking at all the information we received this weekend. Everyone has been very informative and helpful. Mark So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  25. As said many many times, I also just went to the website, paid to renew, when the screen came up and said my renewal was accepted (or something like that) I just printed a copy of that page, carried it in my log book until I actually received my new card. No big deal. As well as I too actually got my card in the snail mail in about 10 days. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
