  3. Ya, i'm aware that these planes are widely used... just wanna know how they stand up say when compared to an otter or caravan.
  4. Just a simple post on the Pilatus Porter plane. Can anyone give me their opinions about this craft? Would it be a viable asset for a DZ? Please post... all comments are taken seriously, thanks.
  5. Hi, As i progress into the sport and want a decent camera to use in the sky as well as on the ground with my baby girl. Has anyone ever used the Sony Cam DCR-SR100 30GB Handycam? Check the link http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/+INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=DCRSR100&Dept=cameras&CategoryName=dcc_DICamcorders_HardDiskHandycamCamcorders to see exactly what i'm talking about. My budget is strictly 1k USD for the camera. If this is not a good cam. Can anyone make a suggestion?
  6. As a soldier in the US Army and a veteran of two deployments to Iraq, I can say two things. on one side there is no reason to treat any human being like that no matter what the circumstance. Also it is human nature to get caught up in the heat of battle and do inhumane things. This dosen't mean it's right. But it happens. I think that the personnel who gave this punishment were concerned with human rights and geneva convention. I'm sure we arn't told all the details... the military does however constantly try to improve it's view with the public, as well making sure they take care of their own. I don't think this ruling is just... but I'm not on any sort of jury. Anyway.. shit happens and usually it sucks. That's why i started jumping... above everything (all the turmoil on the ground) in the air it is calm and very refreshing. End Rant.
  7. So ya, I am in the Army at lovely Ft. Bragg.. well Iraq at the moment... but anywho.. i'm PCSing (moving) to Italy in the Vincenza area Come summertime. I'm looking for the best / closest DZ in that area. Anybody have suggestions?
