  1. I'm not gonna lie. This is badass. Not a day to day lens but fun once in a while.
  2. Moses - If you have to ask if you can fly it, then you aren't ready to fly it. Simple as that. /fuck I need to get recurrent. //stupid shoulder.
  3. Son of a bitch. A true good person.
  4. Its videos like this that make you hope that they they "just" break a leg when they learn their lesson. I hope they don't kill themselves or others. Watching that shit through traffic thinks we have another Danny Page style death on our hands sooner than later.
  5. It wasn't the titties talking. We lost power in the snowstorm last night. One of my gf's coworkers came home with her since she couldn't get home. Well, since we didn't have power, 3.5 hours in the bar was a great way to pass the time. Well, said coworker is a new mom, and had to pump. It's the only sound in the house. I started hearing "watch out" every time the pump made sounds. Stupid snow.
  6. 20-30 jumps 1 torn rotator cuff tendon 1 lovely shoulder surgery 9 months off of jumping (longest break ever)
  7. Damn, I thought it was only 2 movies. 3 is way too fucking many.
  8. What if someone went to help and in the panic he pulled them down with him? Now what?
  9. In the end I am quite sad for the lady who felt she needed to take her own life over this. Rarely is that an acceptable answer. Can you be mad at the DJs for doing some ridiculous shit? Sure. Can you BLAME them for her suicide? Only if you are misguided as well. I was having this discussion with several colleagues that are nurses tonight. Every day they field countless numbers of calls regarding patient status that they are not allowed to comment on. They routinely tell people this. Bottom line is that this nurse openly violated patient confidentiality and should have been reprimanded. What if this had been an attempted murder patient, and she gave out their location in the hospital, and they came back to finish the job? (Happens plenty - gunshots are "NO NEWS" by protocol everywhere I have practiced until proven otherwise) Several years back, several hospital employees were fired in LA for looking at the records of Britney Spears when they were not part of her treatment team. You can track everything in some EMRs (my hospital uses the same system) and they got busted and canned for patient confidentiality violations. In the end, the nurse failed to do her job, regardless of whether the prank call was wrong or not. She should have been TRIPLY on guard given she was taking care of a member of the royal family. Unfortunately, she could not handle the fallout from screwing the pooch. The responsibility is on her and her alone. /poor kid //do not know the specifics of Britain's patient privacy laws ///I mourn the death of personal responsibility everywhere
  10. Clearly you need a Velocity.
  11. Yes. And I don't think canopies can actually think.
  12. Let's just call it even eh? They get the medical data from the device, and you get to....live? I am not going to be able to explain raw pacer/defib data points to someone in a 15 minute visit without extensive review time. That's what the summary reports are for - that the BioMed company provides - from a device that likely took billions to develop. That they pay people/programs to analyze said data and give me a summary report, so that I can tell you as a patient that a) everything looks great since last time or b) we need to change something so that you don't keep having events. They have to make a profit somehow, to be able to keep making cool shit that helps us keep people alive. The data that they collect, as long as not personally idenitfiable, should certainly be allowed to be shared with other researchers to collaborate and improve science. That being said: /most patients have no use for the raw data //most doctors have no use for the raw data ///patients should be able to access any data that comes out of their body. ////I have not read NEXT - but it sounds like I need to add it to my list.
  13. Call your card company and have them see if they can waive the charges for currency conversion, or if you even get charged for overseas use. Incidentals should not be charged anyways if you don't use anything. Credit card charges you can dispute. Cash is gone when you hand it to them until they decide to give it back.
  14. http://www.viddler.com/v/28693d19 Freakin awesome.
  15. May be worth looking into something along the lines of CVID (common variable immunodeficiency) since a lot of this seems to be respiratory complaints. Environmental allergies may be a culprit, especially if you were only tested for food allergies. The list of possibilities is long, like my johnson. Without seeing you and evaluating you hard to say. /internet medicine isn't very good
  16. You CANNOT get the flu from the flu shot. It still astounds me how many people think this.
  17. Power First Control Second Safety Third ALWAYS trust your rears NEVER, EVER give up the gates. So let it be written, so let it be done.
  18. Swoopers have known for years that you have to supplement your competition performance the night before with mass amounts of sushi, beer and saki to perform at your best. Otherwise you just won't hit the gates on the first run. Tradition continues to this day. Sophisticated doping regimen.
  19. When you break a bone, you have found your point. Recover, and start over a size or two up. If you remove yourself from the gene pool, well, you definitely downsized too much. /this advice would have me removed from SoFPiDaRF //when in doubt, downsize and add rotation
