I would think the glue would get gummy, and then the tape would slip off the barb when you pull the cord, leaving a wad of tape inside the cord channel. Agreed. Gaffers tape would work a lot better.

Has there been any final conclusions on this?

I don't see any of the H/C manufacturers buying back any rigs and destroying them??

Check to see if you can get espn360.com with your new internet provider. They carry a ton of college sports online.

Cypres2 cutter broken, any rigger feedback?
HSPScott replied to GravityGirl's topic in Gear and Rigging
Same could be said with all AAD in that rig. -
I have this one too. We use it all time. Works great. Make sure to get an extra battery.

Inventor is Autodesk's 3D mechanical tool. Are you wanting to make a quick walk around the part? I have used 3D StudioMax for that.

Got a ride back once in an ambulance. They were driving by, stopped and gave us a ride. Wish I had that pic.

Skydive San Marcos has a gear store. They don't stock rigs or canopies. Most DZs don't stock them either. It ties up to much money. Most DZs are dealers for most manufactures and can order you whatever you want. If you are looking for used, I would check the classified adds or contact the DZs that are close to where you are going to be. You can call them and see if they have anything that might work for you. I'm in the process of designing a track mount for the FTP. You would be able to mount one or more pieces of equipment anywhere along it. Would anyone be interested?? -

Advice needed: Hard case for Rig Transport?
HSPScott replied to ntrprnr's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Me: two 1620s. One holds 2 rigs and jumpsuit. The other holds camera helmet and camera gear. Those are my regular gear bags. I don't use them for travel. Wife: one 1620: one rig, jumpsuit, weight belt, shoes, helmet and a few small things. They make great places to sit on in the packing area. -
Hey DSE, Isn't this you: http://gravityratsskydiving.com/privacy-policy Just a heads up. Scott

New gear, did I make a good choice? (your opinion)
HSPScott replied to quadrevium's topic in Gear and Rigging
I have 2 Argus units. They are rock solid and have performed exactly as advertised. -
Select all that you want to rotate and open them with preview (rt click). Then you can select them and rotate. Then save and close.
