  1. Enjoy the journey. Take your time. The sky will be waiting.
  2. Do you know more than you did at 50 jumps? The biggest thing is getting familiar with your body in the sky. The more time in the air the better your body will perform. You can alway fall back on a couple of great cliches "Practice, Practice, Practice" & "Practice makes perfect". Once you have learned to fly your body efficiently, then adding something else to the mix is a whole lot less risky.
  3. Trust me on this. The camera adds complexity to any dive. With more than 2,000 camera jumps I still go over safety procedures and check my camera setup before every jump. What if you have a premie and it tangles with the camera? At your number of jumps do know what to do? How to analyze the situation? It is easy to justify and simply the "2" problem areas and say that you can eliminate one because you don't pay attention to it in freefall. Tell me this, have you ever had the thought in freefall with your camera on thinking this is a great shot, hope I am getting it? Well, that just changed your whole thought process for that jump. Stay safe and blue skies.

  13. The video review should be of your skydive looking at you. That way someone can review it and give you pointers on what to improve. If it is your POV, what are you going to gain?? You can't even see what you are doing. If you want video hire a videographer.
  14. Two good ones by George Strait: The Best Day Love Without End, Amen Blue Skies, Scott
  15. I shot one of his or his girlfriends jump. Don't remember if it was tandem or AFF. It was quite a while back. I don't think anyone else there now was there when he was going through AFF. Good luck.
  16. Unless you are in Chicago. Fought a ticket there. The judge called my name, I stood and said here. Then he said case dismissed and said have a nice day.
  17. We bought my wife a Cooper Clubman. It is a super fun car. I drive an 05 Avalanche. It's great for hauling all that gear back and forth from the DZ.
  18. I have the cookie box. I had to cut a whole to allow for the plug. I went to a boat repair shop and got some hardening agent, kind of like JB Weld and resealed where I cut the hole. I'll try and remember to take a picture of it.
  19. The new iMac http://www.apple.com/imac/specs.html
  20. The best way that I have found to keep moisture out @ Spaceland is to use a heating pad. I put it on high as soon as I arrive and put my camera in it. It is nice and toasty by jump time. After I dub the jump, it goes right back in. By doing this, I rarely even get fog at opening time.
  21. There will also be some great 50 ways falling from the sky.

    RW suit

"completely NOT a fan of the concept - but if it can be pulled off, I'd think Tony could find a way if you want to freefly - use a freefly suit if you want to RW - use a RW suit if you want to camera - etc etc piece parts suits are for people that don't commit" I have two different camera jackets and five different pants options. How is that not committing?? Different tools for different jobs.
