If you try leading them and they level off fast you get screwed. Without wings it takes longer to recover. With my team this year, I found that if I Do a semi-peel with my head following the common space between inside and outside center while dragging my hand down the side of the plane, it puts in pretty good position. When I set up: left foot on the step, all the way back. I hold the handle wiwith my right hand, and use my left against fusalage.I switched from a bootie camera suit to a ff style camera suit, and it takes a while to be able to sit really steep. Wings are a must, especially if you are a little bigger. Another tip is to what the dirt dives and have a general idea of what is going on. If they are launhing all exits, you will not only have to get the timing down, but also how long or compact it will be. Good Luck, Scott PS: Don't let it get to you, it takes time to get the hang of it.

Your local DZ is a great place to look. I have also found that Mike at Pier has always given me a great price along with great service.

Hey Robin, I bet Ryan could give you some pointers. If you want, I can get you some info from the teams we've been on in the past. Glad to see you helping out the newer jumpers. See you in Spaceland at TSL #1. Scott

had one break off on me. I was able to push the tip into the camera by accident, and shake it out. I got a new tip at Radio Shack and soldered it on myself.

I am borrowing a buddies Nikon scanner. Is is speciffically for film and slides. If you want quality, you're gonna have spend some cash, or know a friend that has a good scanner. Not sure of the model, but it is really clear on the scans.

YOU would have to be dragging your chest to drag your weenie. You're not supposed to tell.

My wife calls this one the Weenie Drag.

And you will have a pretty purple JavelinRS to put it in too. See you on Sat.

I have a demon 100 demo that I am going to jump this weekend. Call Aerostore, they have the US demos.

How about a premature on your back at 10K. It wraps around your right arm and put you in a monster flat spin. Took to 1K to get it cut away only able to use the left hand. Reserve out at 300. Not planning on trying that again.

This is why you have them..

I have my left foot on the step and right hand on the handle. I crouch down a little, so my head is below the top of the door. When they leave, I just release the handle and slide off leeading with my head. The body will follow.

I jump a TRV38. For moisture, I put my camera in a heating blanket on while on the ground. I know that you said you really don't see any moisture on the lens. I would try using the camera without the Cameye. There may be something wrong with it in the colder climate. Or, there may be something wrong with your lanc connector.
