2 points?? I don't have a narrative. I'm not the one claiming that any of the various conspiracy theories (or not-a-theories) is valid. In reality, Fauci/Pfizer didn't develop COVID. It's not a bioweapon. It actually does exist. It is actually more deadly than the flu. It has nothing to do with 5G. The various vaccines work. Those aren't narratives; simply reality - which is where I 'hang my hat.' It's not such a bad place, really.

1 pointHi folks, Looks like the NRA cannot even get their terms correct; it should be called a 'witch hunt:' Giffords claims the NRA skirted campaign finance laws to back GOP candidates : NPR IMO whatever bad befalls the NRA is not too much. Jerry Baumchen

1 pointInteresting fact, more people have died from polio under Trump than under Biden. Straight facts, no cap
-
1 pointI am so tempted to show the math on that, but then figured - what will it accomplish? I mean, he's not going to learn anything from it, and everyone else already understands why that's so wrong.

1 pointLong ago lived a seaman named Captain Bravo. He was a manly man who showed no fear while facing his enemies. One day while sailing the 7 seas, a lookout spotted a pirate ship. The crew became frantic. "Bring me my red shorts, said the captain. The first mate immediately fetched it. Captain Bravo and his crew easily won the battle. The next day, the lookout spotted not one but two pirate ships. The men all looked at the captain, and he said " bring me my red shorts. The first mate again obliged. Again they were victorious. Later that night at supper, the men asked the captain why he wanted his red shorts to go into battle. If I get wounded in battle you men won't see the blood and you will bravely battle on. The next day the lookout sees not one, not two but 5 pirate ships. The men look at the captain and he says "bring me my brown shorts"...

1 pointI'm not a giant fan of the NRA, but _every_ political organization engages in similar behavior. This kind of thing happens on all sides of American politics. The problem is that enforcement is sporadic and politically motivated. You see 'red state' law enforcement cracking down on left wing organizations, and 'blue state' law enforcement cracking down on right wing organizations. All it does is widen our already massive political divides.

1 pointGiven that Biden's legislative agenda is basically hostage to a coal executive (Joe Manchin) from the largest coal producing state (West Virginia), that makes sense. If the democrats are openly anti-coal, they are going to lose their entire program by alienating the key swing voter in their caucus.

1 pointLots of movies are funny in their time and place. People used to laugh at perfectly good blackface, after all. Sometimes “they” don’t get it right, and go too far. But sometimes “we” do, too. If someone is offended it’s worth listening to why. Might still not change what I do, but if I expect someone else to consider my standards, I should consider theirs. Wendy P.

1 pointOk, I will grant Biden was dealt a poor hand in Afghanistan, that said he played it very poorly. What about the border? What about infrastructure? Energy independence? Crime? COVID? https://nypost.com/2021/10/28/florida-gov-ron-desantis-has-shown-how-to-handle-covid-19/ Just what has Biden actually done?

1 pointYou are correct, here is another The left’s war on fossil fuels has let to a reduction in investment. Less investment = less production = less supply = higher prices
-
1 pointYes, and not just at the pump, the grocery store and housing market as well. Printing two trillion dollars and dumping it into an already growing economy, predictably, resulted in the higher prices we are enduring now. Gas prices don’t hurt my family as we run our affairs from home and other increases in the cost of living, I pass on to my rental properties. However, I do worry about the working class who have seen their real wages plummet under this administration. (BTW my renters are professionals working at universities and they can afford it)

1 pointApparently it has spread to College football games as well, I think there is even a rap song
-
1 pointShort answer, you are correct. That depends on the canopy, but generally they will all eventually return to their 'normal glide', some will do it faster than others and some will either pitch up (positive recovery) or level-out (neutral recovery). -R You be the king and I'll overthrow your government. --KRS-ONE
