We all think we are ready for anything at less than 200 jumps... I'd say NO - however, I would sell him the suit... Now that I have everyone's attention - here's my thoughts behind that statement: Sell him the suit. Ship it to his closest/chosen BMI. He can try it on with the BMI. BMI keeps the suit safe with him/her until he/she feels the guy has the skills needed to jump it - the guy should be happy because he got what he wanted: a proper fitting, used suit. You're happy because you're less responsible for the outcome of his first jump and the BMI knows what's going on with a new bird. Isn't that the point of getting a BMI if you have less than 500 jumps - proper safety for a new bird and those around? It would be a slight risk of damage/theft for the BMI, but it would also begin a good relationship with a future bird... Ok - the debate begins.... I was thinking that when I did a freefly jump from it. I flew camera for a two way sitfly - I don't think they ever cut the engine on the run and it made for some strong prop blast that rivals a Kingair. On the plus side, the grab bar extends all the way to the step; so, you don't have to change hands getting into position.

There were also adult locals (mostly employees of Cingular) that were walking around as well. I asked one of them if they were on their way to do a tandem and of course they said, "no, we're just seeing what's going on". Not that spectators are bad, but I personally like to know my rig is somewhat secure from whuffos. Yea, I know what you mean (I have 12 years)...after a while, it's only the "ultra hotties" you talk to when you're working - average girls figure they don't have a chance with you. Just an interesting observation on quality (products, customer service, whatever...) I got today (with my own addition). Give BH a call... They made a custom mount for me (I supplied the CAD drawings), but it was under the terms of, "I'll make it, you buy it-even if your drawings are wrong".
