I think it all comes down to how comfortable you are flying and at deployment...I ordered my S3 at about 10 jumps (I have more than that now), but I know if it got here when I had 20 jumps I'd still be fine. If you really want to get through the progression, you might try a skydiving vacation to a DZ with nicer weather - a lot of people come to Florida from UK, Ireland, etc. to get their jumps done in just a few days...you might check out DZs to your South to see if they have anything available. Longer bridle has been the one thing everyone suggested - so I did that on my rig. Didn't get a larger PC as I jump camera and like the lighter extraction of the d-bag. Passed them all - but almost had to repeat AFF3: my altimeter stopped at 6500'...my pull was to be at 5000'. Jumpmaster gave me the pull now signal as I was reaching for the handle . Video showed I was looking at it and aware of what was going on...video paid for itself that day! He jumped with the altimeter on his next jump and grounded it .
