Such a great idea! My friend needed to have a micron, so he just bought a canopy that was too small for him- then hooked it in. He could have just had them print "Micron" on the side and he could have just bypassed the hooking in part and still been "cool"! I think they should advertise this as a feature. Yup. After there was a fire at our dropzone that destroyed some peoples gear, many people got their renters insurance to covered it. I have plenty of money invested in jumping gear, plus other stuff (like a laptop) That it is worth the few bucks a month to protect it. BASE 1384

I got a Morrow 162 with awesome Flow Binding and size 12 DC Judge boots... that have been sitting in the closet for almost 2 years... I just can't bring myself to sell them on the chance that I move back to somewhere I can use them again. The board is the only cheap part of my setup, cost me about $150. The boots cost more than twice that. Edit to add: I'm 5'11" and was 175 (200 now) on a 162. Whoever thought that a 162 was too big must not like deep powder. Not everyone is so lucky! Personally, I would (and did) choose the 870 over the Mossberg. The Mossberg just feels like a cheap plastic toy in my hands. If you are set on an auto, a Benelli is the best choice, but you would probably need to find a used one to fit that budget. But damn they are sweet. The 1187 is nice is well but its a bit heavy, which you might find annoying to carry around the woods. BASE 1384

Packing at my dropzone is the only way I could afford to jump. Get a real job mon-friday then pack on the weekends and put it all towards jumping. Plus if yours on staff you might get some discounted jumps. BASE 1384
