  1. "What's the purpose of life?" I don't believe in a "purpose of life." I believe in are the goals that I have set for my life. "What's the purpose of living? ( Staying alive?)" I don't believe everyone shares the same purpose of living. Once again, I have my own personal purpose of living. "Where do you turn to when everything in your life gets turned upside down?" When everything in my life gets turned upside down, I do what I can to change my situation. If I can't change my situation, I turn to family/friends for advice/support. "What hope do you have for things to change?" This is an odd question. Change is an incredible feature of humans. Look at everything we've changed. We eat much differently than people did just a few hundred years ago (heck even 100 years ago.) We communicate very differently. We've even changed our ability to procreate (or not if we choose.) I don't need hope for change since it's inevitable and it's usually a good thing. "What keeps you going everyday?" Enjoying life. And when I have my days where I'm not enjoying life quite as much, knowing that I'm the one responsible for changing that is what keeps me going. 2. I'm an Atheist. I believe the way that I do because I believe that the answers to some of the most challenging questions are not "Because that's the way God wanted it." I believe the way that I do because I do not believe in anything supernatural. It doesn't matter to me what people believe/don't believe. It's what people do with their beliefs/non-beliefs that matter. For me Atheism means that I have to help others more since nothing magical exists to do so. This also means that I have to take full responsibility for changing what I dislike in my life. There is no afterlife to enjoy, so I have to try to enjoy living as much as I can. I have more of an appreciation for the power of nature. I give credit where credit is due (ie, when a doctor helped save my grandma's life, I realized it was the hard work of the doctor that did so, and without medical help, she would not have made it.) Oh, and I get to sleep in on Sundays There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  3. Why no, I haven't! I'm looking forward to it!
  4. Call me, run to a webcam and simultaneously drop their pants (or lift their shirts) to give me a group moon/flash! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  5. Damn, Betsy! You're making it very difficult for me for me to be responsible and say, "I should save my money for those upcoming camps...." Well, that and Quickdraw's flattery! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  6. As it seems to go every year, you suck! Val, I'm sad that you can't make it. I put myself on the list with the hopes that we could fly together...maybe some 2 on 2. Next time... I'm thinking of stopping by for some tunnel time I just wanted to make everyone beg. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  7. My winters: -Spend more time with family and friends (nothing beats having snowball fights with my nephews) -Take a class in something new (I think I may take Muay Thai this winter) -Read more (I have a huge list to start in on after my exam) -Take more bellydancing (I haven't gone to a class in weeks ) -Pretend to save -Go on vacation Winter is the time to catch up on everything I neglect while I'm skydiving. Though, skydiving will still be a big part of my winter since I'm planning on hitting the tunnels, and I'm going to start trying to train my "mental" game for four-way (ie, harass JaNette with questions.) By end of the season, though, I'm usually looking forward to winter (and by March, I'm usually looking forward to skydiving season!) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  8. I feel the same about my donuts. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  9. As it seems to go every year with my plans of hitting the boogie, I'm not going. I think I'm going to the four-way camp instead! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  10. I went to school for Statistics/Actuarial (what's an actuary?) Science. I work as a pretend Actuary. I'm pretending to study for my exam, and I'm pretending to be sane while screaming at textbooks for giving me the wrong answer (twice today, they really have given me the wrong answer...typo-induced insanity.) I use what I learned in school frequently at my job. When I don't my bosses get mad at me and give me a big "no no." However, I also picked a degree/career where I knew that this would be the case. Though, I'm still trying to find the actuary by day and crimefighter by night. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  11. Rosa, there are some inherent differences between us. You came up with this beautiful costume...planned out, altered, and impressed everyone by your beauty. I went as a drunken bachelorette on her last night out What's that thing that you have that I'm missing....grace? I would love to see pics of your costume, though!
  12. Lady by Day. Freak by night. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  13. 0:0:0 No jumps, but I did take a really fun ride in this! I attended a most fantastic Halloween party last night at Chicagoland Skydiving, and I went as a bachelorette! Andyman had the best costume ever, though....maybe he'll be inspired to post some pics! Good times.... Sigh...I really should go study now.... 14. I'm so silly. Yes, I will be there. I arrive PHX at 10 pm on the 15th and leave at 8:45 on the 19th (I'm more than happy to buy beer/food/throw a jump on your acct for anyone who can help me out!
  15. Who's in? It sounds like a most excellent camp, and, well, how can you not have fun in Eloy? Is anybody arriving the Phoenix airport late on the 15th and leaving late-ish on the 19th? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  16. 0:3:0 It looks like my season is done for here in the midwest. I'm not too upset since I'll be in Eloy in a month! Last night was Deep Fried Fest. A little bit of champage + a little bit of beer + a little bit of deep fried food = YUCK. I'm a little sad the season is coming to an end, but it makes it easier to save for some time in the tunnel with Chromy!!! I had a fantastic time at Chicagoland Skydiving this season, and I really can't wait for next!
  17. Happy Birthday, J!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  18. 0:5:0 An absolutely fantastic weekend at Chicagoland Skydiving!!!! I taught ground school both days, and I had some FANTASTIC students! Yesterday, I made two jumps (including an ass grab-ass grab dive! ) Today, I jumped with three students that I taught in the FJC (one from a few weeks ago and two from today)
  19. I have Remster blocked. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  20. BLAH:BLAH:BLAH What a crappy weekend. I was supposed to go to CSC for fun jumping and a toy party. Instead, I sat at home puking yesterday and just feeling overall crappy today. Woo freaking hoo. We all need boring weekends....right? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  21. I'll be downtown tomorrow with my car. If the weather forecast miraculously changes, I'm heading to CSC tomorrow after work!
  22. I absolutely love that show!!!! To see a guy go from blonde to a redhead due to blood....how f***ing cool is that? If I wasn't a wuss and didn't hate pain, I think I'd really like fighting. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  23. That was one of the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen! Thanks for posting the pics!!!!
  24. 0:2:Still owe so much goddamn beer this season...if you want free beer, follow me! What a great weekend at Chicagoland Skydiving!
