    If you have ever packed a strong tandem with a non-sewn bag you would understand why you want them sewn. The bags are complete bullshit when they are not sewn. Once the velcro wears down the bags barely stay closed so it has to be replaced once every 100-200 jumps where you could just sew the bags shut.

    I live in LA. I have basically 3 options in my area. Elsinore, Perris, or Camarillo. All of them are expensive except Camarillo and they dont offer the program yet. Elsinore and Perris are a 2 hour drive away too just drive to skydive AZ

    did 5 jumps new years day. 1st was from an otter and then a skyvan and 3 more otter.

    used a shoelace like 10 times when packing at home and it works great!

    Head back and use your back to compensate by leaning back as your taking the dock to compensate for your arms in front of you.

    Definetly agree the xfire is a small step below the katana. Got about 30 jumps on a katana 107 and 300+ on a xfire 2 119. As Vetracide up there said the katana dives longer and will go further than the xfire. I add about 150 feet to my 270 when i jump the katana.
