LoL this is what I was thinking when I was reading through this thread. I don't have an accent unless I travel, its just the same as everyone else (except dino and trav). I find it funny that alot of people here mention the aussie accent is something they like. I would be interested in knowing if this is based on backpackers they meet or from the movies/tv shows. A cute accent or just the way the girl talks can definately change my perception of a girl.

Not to mention it will be playing live on TripleJ. So unless they are jump mates blow em off.

Squeak sounds to me that its his first bike. That is the problem when you can buy a 900 as your first bike. I kinda like canberra's rule that you must have a 250 (or similar) before you can upgrade. Also the composulary classes you need to take before your learners definately gives you a good start to learn how to look after your bike. Its alot of money to spend when you do not look after it, think of the resale value. Not to mention how unsafe it is if the break cable snaps when doing something stupid around kangaroo valley, because you didnt service it.

If you do not want to do the maintence yourself then you should expect to pay for it. It is a reasonable price. Btw I would suggest learning more about your bike. Perhaps you could ask if you could watch him do it. Btw squeak didnt see your reply, great minds think alike :)

Jasmin, I definately hope to flock with you and the other wingsuiters hopefully later in the year when i get my numbers up. But I wont be doing it over the water for a while.

It will be 5 months or more of no jumping by the time i get back in the air. I defiantely feel your pain. Have fun on your next jump.

Thanks for sharing. I found out how important my weekends of jumping (from planes until i get the jumps) are to my sanity, only when I was grounded due to a broken leg. Alot of your story rings home so true. Thanks again.

If anyone loses files from a disk, stop, dont do anything else to the disk and bring it to someone who has recovered files from a floppy disk in a similar state before. Also give them the whole story of what has happened since you were last able to open the files (was the disk left in the glovebox etc..). It is not out of the question to get alot of the text back or perhaps the whole documents. Just do not start playing around with it, and you are better off spending 50cents and getting another disk even if you think its a hopeless cause. When working in a helpdesk I recovered a number of thesis and assignments that were due that day. However there were also the odd cases where you got bugger all. What to get her. Get her anything she needs between now and when the stuff is due. And then plan a nice weekend away to forget about it all when its all complete. Don't tell her until its done so it does not distract her.

I did have some fun talking to some people from the gong that had a few wet canopy experiences. But I guess that happens anywhere there is water. I definately felt for the guy who ruined his cypress due to landing in the drink the other weekend. Mind you being a wingsuiter he was lucky it didnt end out any worst. Dino when you going?

What is wrong with the guys over in the US. I mean I have not many skydiving girls but I also do not remember any single ones. And you are cute and your threads make me think and smile. It kinda goes with most of the people who are single on this forum, I have not found many personallities I do not gel with here. The world is a weird place sometimes. I remember bow saying that you need an APF D (or maybe c) license to jump there because I remember being quite bummed. But I was also quite drunk so I am probably way off. Temora can jump weekdays too Trav if we get enough people. If you go to the APF website it tells you if the DZ is 7 days or weekend.

Someone who is gawking and talking to anything that has a skirt on. Oh and stops talking to them when they talk about their boyfriend. I come from a town where you can definately pick the people who are out on the prowl, I find it amusing. I am too shy to be a player so I enjoy the music, dance and have a few drinks. Mind you that now eats into my jump money so i do not even do that.

I think it sucks. Some people thought we dobbed on them for smashing up OUR fence and hence they got a bloody pigs corpse from a butchers and put it on the front yard. And that is not even calling the police and just taking our fence being screwed up on the chin. Could you imagine if they got put away for 2 years for a bigger crime etc.. I mean there was one time when someone assulted me (not even a bruse but intent was there). The coppers then found him on the next train and said he was wanted for a hit and run in a stolen car to name just a few offences (12 in total i think). I think he would have liked to know who got him busted, as it is fairly easy to track someone down once you have a name.

Hi RkyMtnHigh when you read again, i would like it if you could do mine.

When I get back to skydiving I hope I do not have a recurrency jump like this. I think I might practice the Emergency drills a bit more often, even though im grounded. Thanks for sharing. Well done on landing without a ride to the hospital.
