  1. So come to find out, she sued a college for discriminating against her for being white... And her parents didn't out here because they were being vindictive, just answering questions honestly as a part of another investigation.... The plot thickens. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/woman-at-center-of-naacp-case-sued-university-in-2002-said-it-favored-black-students/ar-BBlbKIA "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 2. Well, in Gabby's honor, they are going to make the ship Gun-Free... http://www.duffelblog.com/2015/06/uss-gabrielle-giffords-christened-gun-free/ "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 3. How the fuck do you know what a pocket pussy looks like? LMFAO AGAIN!!! Watch out for the 3-bladed circumciser in the middle.... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 4. Didn't some black guy say something about that????? I think so, but since he was black, no one listened to him. Race is still more important. "The only facts that matter are that a black guy was shot by a white cop. What the black guy was doing is not important because he was black, PERIOD!" 5. Hey Winsor, When you dig into it, there probably wasn't much that she could have done. Her assailant out weighed her by over 100 lbs. which put her in a difficult spot. You bring up a lot of valid points, which when you add them all together points out that by putting such stringent restrictions on her right to bear arms, what really happened was that it restricted her right to self defense. Which is what liberals are really attacking, control over your own life. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 6. Every dog breeder knows that while pure breeds may be worth more money, they tend to have health and behavioral issues.... Seriously though, I could care less about blood lines. Here in America we are all pretty much mutts now. The sooner people realize that and stop with the identity politics the sooner we can move on to more important stuff.... .... like the content of peoples character..... 7. This girl has been passing her self off as black for years, and is now a prominent figure in the Spokane Wa chapter of the NAACP. Thing is, she was born white. But in the day and age where you can choose your sex, despite the chromosomes you were born with, is it now reasonable to think you can choose your race? http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/the-big-question-in-the-naacp-rachel-dolezal-case-why/ar-BBl4En2 "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 8. We also never hear the stories about the lives guns save, which by some estimates is a lot more. The technical term would be "throwing out the baby with the bath water." 9. From Regulator's article: But at the same time the article doesn't address other things as well like the neighborhoods that police might respond most to, OR, who is most likely to do something stupid, like, try to beat up the police officer and take his gun. There are lots of variables, but to say the system is "racist" is a little out there. Andy, I hate to say this but I think you are starting to go off the deep end a little. We need a base line question: Is pool racist because the game ends when the white ball knocks the black ball off the table? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 10. The left will be glad to hear that she is dead now so the permit will not be issued to her. We're keeping guns off the streets! http://www.nj.com/camden/index.ssf/2015/06/nj_gun_association_calls_berlin_womans_death_an_ab.html Highlights from the article: So if these kinds of restraints are acceptable on a right that shall not be infringed upon, there is no problem putting these restraints on voting rights, correct? 11. Herd some interesting stuff on the news today about this... Apparently the cop had responded to 2 calls before this. One call was a suicide, and another call was talking a girl off a roof who was about to commit suicide.... More to the story, rumor has it he was throwing white kids around also... I think he has also released a statement saying that he apologizes for his actions during the call. He was letting the job get to him. I haven't found anything with my google fu, but is someone can confirm this I think it would help. It just goes to show, cops are human. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 12. Let's get with the science. Nothing I stated was unscientific. A billion tons is a nice round number, and the early 20th Century is when human CO2 output first reached that figure, from being insignificant prior to, say, 1850. ....and then the atmospheric levels of CO2 skyrocketed from .02% to .02%..... And can you guess what they are today? If you said .02% you get a prize!!!!! "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 13. If you watch really carefully at the very beginning of the video before the cop pulls out his gun you see to "kids" moving up beside/behind him aggressively. He didn't shoot anybody, or point his gun at anybody, but just showing his pistol, de-escalated the aggressive posturing of those two guys who are in turn chased down by 2 other officers. As for the girl crying for her mama, I'm left with the feeling that her behavior before she was taken to the ground was a little different. Ever notice how these video's never show the behavior that attracted the cops? I'm thinking it looked like this. You have to watch until the end for the surprise ending: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSKGdPHU1-0 So that police never have to pull a pistol again to de-escalate a situation, I highly suggest they take a lesson from these guys on how approach a situation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rTYCc2ZF2o The lions were actually scared off by the clanking of their giant brass balls.... 15. Are you sure???? So now I am confused. Are they fembots (as stated in the OP) or Cylons? What's the difference? They are both hot! (Assuming we are talking about the Cylons from the remake and not the 1978 original series) "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 17. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, usually when a judge does that, it has a lot to do with assigning blame. Car B did this, so they are responsible for 70%, Car A did this, so they are responsible for 30%. I would argue that if someone breaks into your house and robs and assaults you, they are 100% responsible. To say anything less would be to slowly move back to the days in California where people who hurt themselves robbing a house would turn around and sue the homeowner. The victims of these crimes should not be victimized again. A person should not fear protecting himself or his family. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 18. But the kid was white, so I guess it doesn't really matter. Only Black Lives Matter.... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  19. My turn! My turn! Don't forget about all the helping the Clinton Foundation did in Haiti after the earth quake! Did the donation to the Clinton Foundation reach a half billion? maybe more? Bill got $500,000 a speech you know... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 20. About the only way this bill would make sense is it would help if that errant bullet in a self-defense situation struck a bystander outside and he needed help covering his medical bills. However, the person defending himself shouldn't be the one paying the bills. The person committing the crime is supposed to be responsible for all the bad that happens. In a way, you would be making the victim a victim yet again in the court of law. Some people would say "that just isn't right." "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 21. This is a fun jumper post from an extreme left website (no surprise there...) but it is an interesting story. If you want an unfiltered sequence of events, here it is: http://www.abcnews4.com/story/29017320/hollywood-homeowner-shot-by-deputy-paralyzed-after-shooting-family-says A couple things, in the ambulance ride Heyward said that he believes the shooting was an accident. With that, some benefit was given to the police and that has the potential of slowing things down a bit. Also, this event just happened a month ago. Keep an eye on it. Let's see what happens at the 6 month mark. I have a feeling that there will be a rather large settlement coming to this young man. Even the police chief in the interview said that he had a right to defend his home. Either way funjumper's original article was an attack on the NRA with a lot of accusations of racism. More of an emotional plea designed to stir up feelings and remove all logic and reason. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 22. Care to explain who here on this forum would benefit from a true "police state"? Any person who is pro-big government and loves excessive rules and regulations because they can run your life better than you.... ... and lawyers. 23. I think the main difference is Charlie Hebdo did it with ink and paper alone. They forced nobody to buy the magazine. They didn't force anyone at any mosque to have to deal with it in any way if they didn't want to. The guys in Arizona actively encouraged people to bring guns to a mosque. Can you imagine if the relationship were turned around and armed Muslims started standing outside any church in the US and actively attempting to goad the church members into armed conflict? Question for you. Do you think they would have armed themselves if their wasn't a real threat against them? Remember, they just got through attacking a "Draw Muhammed" seminar a couple of weeks ago, they have attacked Charlie Hebdo, they are still trying to kill the guy that did the "draw Muhammed" contest in the Danish paper, and if I remember rightly, their is still a fatwa on the guy that wrote the book "Satanic verses." Even though they were armed, did anyone get shot? No. Do you know why? I think it was Marcellus Wallace that said "Don't start no trouble, there won't be no trouble." Even Matt Parker and Trey Stone were censored from showing a depiction of Muhammed in one of their South Park episodes. It was the moral equivalent of slapping your wife for saying something that might upset some asshole. All I'm saying is that in a free secular society you have to assimilate and let some ideas go. If you don't, it's not a free secular society, it's a Shia ran society. And if they decide to ban Bacon next, I will let loose the dogs of war! I will mount a pale horse and hell will follow with me! 24. I beg to differ. I think it's good to look back. How many people today do you think remember Bruce Jenner's accomplishments back in 1976? To look at the man he was and turn around and see him as the woman he is today I think is a good thing. It challenges peoples preconceived notions and maybe even gets them to open their eyes to the people in the LGBT community. A little bit ago I think someone by the name of Eric Holder gave a speech about being a "Nation of Cowards." By immediately playing the race card and trying to shut down the conversation I think you have placed yourself squarely in the "coward" category. 25. I'm not sure they would see it that way in their minds. I'm fairly certain they're celebrating they've been able to be complete assholesfree speech without any repercussions. This might embolden them to commit further acts until we end up with our own version of Kristallnacht muslims allowing free speech to include criticism of their own religion like every other religion in America.
