Especially since 1900, to see why our economy has grown or collapsed you have to look at what is going on in the world and how the other countries have been able to compete against us in the global arena. During the 50's 60's and 70's when we were the only real industrialized nations we could tax our businesses 90% and our economy would still grow. Which ever movie you gravitate to kind of says something about your views.
