  1. Man offers $500 to anyone who kills an ICE agent gets acquitted. Apparently soliciting murder is protected under the first amendment. This is the new standard now. https://www.foxnews.com/us/jury-acquits-new-york-man-offered-kill-ice-agent.amp
  2. When I was still active duty I use to train Saudi's. A lot of our partner forces use american schools to achieve their initial qualifications (because we are still viewed as the best in a lot of areas and we are more willing to share than a lot of our european allies). That said, we rely a lot on the foreign governments to do a lot of the screening of the people in there military. Supposedly, since they are their guys, they know them (that whole knowing them and their family and working with them on a day to day basis thing). Saudi Arabia is also supposed to be our ally in containing Iran. I don't think they would knowingly jeopardize our relationship (especially since we buy a lot of their oil and protect their shipping lanes). The real question is, why are people who are members of the "religion of peace" doing this?
  3. Which comes to the age old question, do you want to judge actions by intent or results? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  4. You honestly think funneling people back through the NFA is "Swinging the doors wide open"? I don't want to think about what your productivity level at work looks like.... 5. I'm more than willing to drop the (D) and (R) and just say government. I haven't found a problem yet that can't be traced back to a government regulation of some sort. 6. Nice deflection Bill.... All of your listed parachute mods were to make parachuting safer and more reliable. Trigger manipulation devices don't do anything but increase rate of fire. They even make accuracy worse actually decreasing safety, because often times you have to grip the rifle in an awkward way to use them. But they were all invented to try to give the user the simulated feel of full auto. Thank you Hughes amendment.... Before the passage of the Hughes amendment, NFA crimes were so low they were statistically non existent. As stated, the back ground checks and processes to possess a machine gun were extensive. The rules and regulations to get one were terrible with a year long wait time, but at least you could still get one. Rangle had a solution that created a problem. The Hughes amendment created the market for this. And the Obama ATF approved it. Facts are facts. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 7. If your going to blame the gun, you also have to blame Charles Wrangle (D, NY) Why you ask? Charles Wrangle attached the Hughes Amendment to the Fire Arm Owners Protection act back in 1986, banning the sale of new Full Auto fire arms to the public. Before that, you could by a new full auto machine gun. It was an NFA item. You had to register it with the government, pay a tax, submit a photo and fingerprints, and go through every back ground check known to the federal government, then wait close to a year for approval. The passage of the Hughes amendment did for the trigger manipulation market what prohibition did for organized crime. It created it. With no other option now for a free people, the free market created a whole new class of fire arm accessories designed to allow for faster trigger manipulation (technically not full auto, just aids in a similar rate of fire) So your choice is clear, if you want gun control, you can either repeal the hughes amendment, or continue to chase technology. The second amendment isn't going anywhere so live with it. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 8. It is done because Nugent constantly calls black people niggers, and called half black half white Obama a subhuman mongrel. Do you disagree that this is overt racism? If so, there's nothing more to say to you, enjoy your fantasy world. If not, is your argument that Nugent might not be a racist, he just plays one on tv? In that case, right back at ya - you don't personally know any of the liberals you're accusing of hate mongering, therefore you don't know that they mean it, therefore there's no problem. And yes, this really does sum everything up. You refuse to accept any reasonable criticism of Nugent because he is on the same side of the aisle as you. You pretend that calling an overt racist a racist is a political ploy because it fits your preconceived notion that all accusations of racism are purely politically motivated. You're blinded by partisanship and unable rationally address the issues you're ranting about. Are you sure he uses the N-word all the time? Or did you just here that from an un-named CNN source? I can say that I have seen him give more to wounded veterans with out any consideration for race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation than any other person I have seen. But I won't deny some of the inflammatory shit he has said either. There is a reason why psychologists have said it is unethical to give a diagnosis on a person from TV interviews and sound bites. I suggest you digest that for a while... Meanwhile, a song to pass the time.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU33U-i7Vv8 "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 9. Keeping this post short. Happy Fathers day! But yes, this right here sums up everything. You don't know him, but you label him a racist anyway. And this is done because he disagrees with Obama (rather strongly on a couple of subjects, I might add, and doesn't mince words about it...) But these racial politics are the core of left wing hate, and unless they can stop calling everyone that disagrees with them "racist" we're going to get more hate and violence. I'm sad to say it, but on the current course, civil war is inevitable..... Thanks Jakee!!!! "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 10. Ya... You conveniently left out Ted's apology. Classy. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/06/17/ted-nugent-once-said-obama-should-suck-on-my-machine-gun-now-he-wants-to-tone-down-the-hateful-rhetoric/?utm_term=.ec611a07b686 And no it's not a lie. I can't have a conversation with anyone on the left, oh say, about securing the southern boarder to stop the cartels from bring in drugs without being called a racist. The next thing usually said to me is "you don't want to stop drugs, your racist!" Your a special kind of person if you think I'm imagining being called a racist. The word "racist" does have a very distinct sound to it and does tend to stick out in a conversation. And yes, I do get upset when I am constantly being called a racist. How about you? Do you get upset when people constantly call you a commie fascist, you commie fascist? Of course, I didn't call you a commie fascist, your just imagining it... Maybe one day we'll be able to have an honest conversation in this country between left and right politicians with out the right being called racist... That day isn't today. To much liberal smugness. 11. First, Nazi stands for "National Socialist Workers Party" Second, Nazis were Fascists. Fascists, by traditional definition, used laws, regulations, and violent force to shut down opposing ideas and views and make everyone get on board with their program. (Liberals have changed the definition to mean anyone that they disagree with, so they can use violence to shut down their opposing view) Third, your argument is the very point I was making above. Ted Nugent walked back the thing (not even plural) that he said about obama. Most of his other rants were on defending his rights, but you don't see that do you? Your so brain washed by leftist group thing you can't. Every criticism of Obama or speaking out on his policies is proof of racisms, isn't it? Go ahead and say it. Any idea from the right is racist. Apply what ever mental gymnastics needed to get there, that way you can justify your violence. Doesn't righteous hate feel so good? It's the self righteousness that really does it. Civil war is coming sooner than expected I guess.... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 12. It's not lazy and disingenuous. Hate has consumed the base of the left and is spreading through the liberals and the democratic party. First, they call us "Racist, sexist, homophobe, xenophobe Nazis" so they can dehumanize us and look down on us. Most of all it justifies their hate. Then right before Trumps inauguration CNN runs a "What if Trump was Assassinated" peace... just to show the transfer of power.... depending on the time he was assassinated... for information purposes only... Then Celebrities like Madonna and Ashley Judd get up and say crap about blowing up the white house... Snoop Dog puts out a video of Trump being shot. Liberals run "Ceasar" in a new york park only it's Trump being assassinated. A Dystopian play called "Building the Wall" has been put on by a New York Theater company and is making it's way around the country. Main stream Media has ignored any good that Trump may have done, with 94% of all Trump stories designed to undermine his presidency. Now, because of the painting of anyone on the right as a bad person, and the dehumanizing of them, along with the changing of tone from upholding the liberal cause to a more militant "Resist" like the left is somehow under a violent attack, they have justified the use of violence. You now have leftist groups like "Antifa", "BAMN" and the "John Brown Militia" forming to violently suppress free speech. They can "Bash the Fash" and "Punch a Nazi" and shut down any speech they don't like on college campuses just by threatening violence. And now with this shooting we actually have some left wing hateful idiots living out their "Kill Trump" fantasy. After the shooting you now have a democratic strategist who has started the hastags #huntrepublicans and #huntrebuplicancongressmen. Other popular twitter feeds talks about killing republicans as self defense. So yes, try to ignore it, the democratic party and liberals are becoming the party of hate. Wow, project much? First off, I'm lumping everyone on the left together. I know that there are still moderate liberals out there. But you better wake up and see the hate that is spreading through the left. Yes, it is a movement and it is spreading. Your party can still stop it... if you choose... But most off I find this statement of yours very hypocritical. When ever we try to explain to the hate mongers on the left that we see differences in people, (not everyone here from a foreign country is here illegally, not every illegal is a criminal, not every Muslim believes in sharia law...) our statements get ignored. I know this is done so that way extreme leftists (and most of the moderate left to, as seen in the main stream media) so they can paint us as evil people, and thusly justify their violence. Maybe liberals should start speaking out to their extremist base and get them to cool down, since they are supposedly different and have different views. Get them to chill before the guys on the right get sick and tired of getting hit on the head with bike locks (Google Eric Clampton if you don't know that story) or falsely labeling people as white nationalist and then sucker punching them (richard spencer). If they don't, shits gonna get real. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 13. Agreed. And we have a president who openly advocated violence during the election. That has an effect. Since this is a pretty general statement, I'm just going to assume that you were talking about these quotes that you put in another thread.... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4850381#4850381 I don't know if you are intentionally misleading, or you actually believe these quotes are an equivalent to the left wing hate. I haven't sourced them all, but I recognize most of those quotes from his rallies. They were responses from left wing agitators attacking rally goers in an attempt to shut down free speech. I think that is a little different than people who are being attacked solely on their beliefs.... which is what the agitators were doing at the Trump rallies to solicit this response.... Lauren Southern (yes, right wing, but main stream media which is now the propaganda arm of the democratic party would never cover this, or even ask these questions...) laid out the time lines of all of this pretty well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0f6tDoP5Fw She even had the fore sight to ask when will this stop. 14. Of course it isn't. Agreed, still a chance to get off this crazy train. Of course they didn't. Agreed. 15. Yes, they were to lazy to vote, that's why there college proffesors are organizing them into "Black Blocs." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPvN5o2aRNs You can close your eyes and pretend it's not happening at your own peril. I hate to say it, but the left has become the party of hate, and unless they stop worrying about demonizing their opponents to gain some kind of superior moral ground so they can be right at all costs and start doing what's right, shits gonna get real. Then being right won't matter any more... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 16. I don't know if you have been paying attention to any of the "Anti-Trump" rallies, but I think it's pretty safe to say there is more than one crazy person out there.... 17. Really? I mean, really? I hope you don't mean it that way, but it sounds like you are in support of killing our elected representatives. If you don't like them, vote them out, don't shoot at them. Dan, I've spent the last 17 years at war. The last thing I want is more of it. And I especially don't want my family in the middle of it. I've seen enough dead bodies to last several life times. At the same time I also know that know matter how much I may want something, that may not be enough to make it happen. Actions have consequences and deserves have nothing to do with it. No matter how much you may want to save someone from the consequences.... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 18. I would like to believe that it's just "one wacko with a gun" but it's going to take some investigation to get the whole truth. Not trying to argue that everything that the left has been saying is right, wrong, or indifferent, but this guy has had the opportunity to consume a steady diet of hate. No matter how righteous everyone may think it is, hate is still hate. Seriously, saying your going to go out and "Bash the Fash" killing a republican is the equivalent to self defense because all their policies are racist, sexist, homophobe xenophobe ideas that are going to destroy the earth isn't exactly the recipe for peace. To make matters worse, that people can hide out in social media echo chambers and not get out into the real world to get perspective doesn't help either. It doesn't allow them to get any perspective and see the opposition as human. I would like to believe that this is a one off incident, but taking a look at the extremism that is being taught and fed into the colleges like Berkley and Evergreen (look it up if you don't know what's going on there) that this groupthink behavior is OK needs to stop and not be perpetuated. I know that we have had some real differences in the past (Hamilton and Burr come to mind) but I don't think that our country was as, shall we call it tribal on a mass scale? as we were back then (thank you social media) I hope we get off this road before we get to the end, but we'll see... 19. Sorry for starting a separate thread, but I wanted to invoke the [on topic] to keep this from going down the gun debate rabbit whole that the other thread has seemed to have gone running down. I'm pretty sure everyone has noticed the state of politics now a days, especially the amount of hate being spewed. So now we have a politically motivated shooting on our hands. What happens next? Do you think this is the "Shot heard around the world" and now civil war is imminent? Or do you guys think we may be able to turn this boat around? I was glad to hear congress speak in unity this morning after the shooting. I haven't seen this much cooperation since 9/11. But of course, this wasn't an action against the unwashed masses outside their walled compounds. This was them directly being targeted... and I'll say it, they deserved it because of rhetoric coming out of Washington. They reaped what they have sown. So is this a wake up call? Will they get their act together? How long do you think the niceties will last? Or was this the first battle in the next Civil War? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  20. If you're saying that Trump is such a crap President already that it's better for him to distract the media by looking like a juvenile idiot on this issue than have them spend more time reporting what he's actually doing then I fully agree with you.
  21. You said it sucks, you said it's bad for the country, you said it has zero substance, you said it was an effort to de-lagitamize [sic] the presidency. I didn't say you cared about whether the story was right or wrong, I said you cared about the story. And clearly you do, otherwise (applying your own standard) why are you spending your time here moaning? But, yet again (let's see how many time's you'll ignore this and hope no-one notices you don't have an answer) you're angry at the wrong people. Trump is allowing this story to distract him from governing, he's wasting his staff's time and other government officials' time on it, and he's destroying the credibility of the White House press office by pursuing his version of it. But you thought that was the only reason I'd be posting here. So, applying your own standard, it must be the only reason you're still posting here. Especially since your argument is so weak Fixed it for truth. Well duh, that's the whole point of internet forums Are you confused about that too? You're not going to reply to my post, because you know your argument has no substance, is founded on hypocrisy and that you've run out of bluster to distract from that. And the Distraction continues...... You are easier to troll than Trump is.... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  22. Well, at least you get it Bill!!! "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  23. And you are defending a man who is taking his time and his staff's time away from real governance in order to perpetuate this story. Can't you see that? Fortunately for the country, the amount of time I spend discussing this topic has zero effect on it, good or bad. Unfortunately for the country, the amount of time Trump and his staff spend on it does have an effect. The extent to which Trump and his staff demonstrate that they are willing to brazenly lie to the American people does have an effect. Once again I ask, why are you criticizing the wrong people? Ummmm, ok. If you're saying those are the criteria for posting here now, let's apply the standard to you first. What are you gaining by wasting your time telling me I'm wrong? Again, it's relevant for two reasons. One, you're angry at the time being wasted on the story, so you should be angry at Trump. Two, you wrongly claimed that Trump didn't start or perpetuate the story, a direct response to that is justified. Unless you're desperate for me to tell you that you're right... but what would that gain you? Me personally, I couldn't give a rat's ass is the story is right or wrong, and i surely don't need your approval for anything. But you clearly can't let it go. As I said, stories like this are catnip for the left. They can't let it go, and I for one am more than happy to let them keep going with it. Your going to respond to this post, aren't you? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  24. Eh? How could it be otherwise? Once again, I am left questioning your understanding of the linear flow of time Everyone agrees that the initial story was of trivial importance (although it was warranted as a response to Trump's own insistence upon the importance of the yuuuge crowds he claimed to draw at every stage of the campaign, and that he would draw at his Inauguration). If Trump hadn't flipped his lid like the spoiled toddler he is, the story would have remained a brief and trivial side note. But he did, so it didn't. That's not the media's fault, that's Trump's fault. The media has done absolutely nothing wrong here. Every single part of this story is an entirely justifiable response to Trump's own statements and stated priorities. There is nothing of substance to your moaning, and no reason for it than to defend a guy with an R next to his name. Sorry, but that is the truth. You can't even see that you are justifying a story that takes away time from real stories. The Media is going with this just like you are. You just can't help it can you? It's not about what is good for the country, it's about you being right at all costs. It's why I picked this story in my original reply to Phill111. Zero substance, yet the media, and you guys, can't let go. Your ego won't let you until you can get someone to tell you "your right". So let's say I tell you your right? Then what? What prize do you win? How will it make things better? What knowledge will be gained that will better America? What Policy are you now wiser on? Yet for some reason the media won't let it go. Your response is classic. "Trump keeps making it a story." If I was Trump I would get as much mileage out of it as I could. Keep the Main stream media chasing it's tail. Good luck fellas. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  25. Maybe, maybe not. Like I said, the purpose of the story is to attack Trump. It's like catnip to the media. They can't help it. Once again, how does this effect the average person? It doesn't. Meanwhile, Trump has promised to repeal 75% of the regulations on business while handing a lot of the EPA pink slips. We'll see what happens. Follow the story that makes you feel good, don't worry about what's happening in America. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying.
