  2. Make America great like it was in my grandfathers day when all self respecting people were members of the KKK and lynched the uppity people of color who dared to challenge our superiority note that this is sarcasm but could have easily come from any mags followers
  3. Lock him up or put him on his ugly ass airplane with a one way flight plan to Moscow so he can’t hang with his puppet master putin

  6. SWe could only hope that it was dead white Christian nationalism isstill onrhe rise Texas wants to indoctrinate school kids with Christian beliefs all classrooms would have to display the Ten Commandments schools could have prayer and bible study classes no parental consent required and nlike basic sex Ed’s requirements the us is a secular country we don’t ant a Christian taliban running the country the hopes devolving into a horror show freedom of religion also means freedom from religion talk about beliefs being shoved down your throat. Religion is not required to be a moral and reasonable person. religious people are often the most amoral and intolerant people their way or the highway if you move tomanybiblenelt the fist question you get is what church do you go to the wrong answer can get you shunned.
  7. f The First Amendment provides that Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. It protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.not that there is nothing about private companies or corporations twitter of Facebook removing offensive material is not denial of free speech rights neither is a governmental organization a good explanation can be found at https://study.com/academy/lesson/1st-amendment-free-speech-definition-major-cases.html?src=ppc_adwords_nonbrand&rcntxt=aws&crt=519972749261&kwd=&kwid=dsa-1253079156202&agid=125582019081&mt=&device=m&network=g&_campaign=SeoPPC&gclid=EAIaIQobChMInNHhnvHM_AIVxiqtBh1ozg5LEAAYASAAEgLLIvD_BwE
  8. This organization nailed the hypocrisy of the “religious exemption” horseshit. I hope to see the unvaccinated plague rats show up on the Herman Cain award winners list.
  9. My condolences to friends and family members who are suffering due to his death. Robert Chromy is a Herman Cain Award winner. https://www.reddit.com/r/HermanCainAward/comments/pgszii/this_guy_must_have_posted_every_piece_of/ Robert was anti-vax and extremely proud of it. That didn’t work out well for him. We hope that his death will get people to re-evaluate their life choices and get vaccinated.
  10. I had similar issues way back when I was a student. My instructors suggested that I do an observer ride before my next jump. Doing this burned off a lot of the adrenaline that was causing the issues. In a 182, sitting with my back to the instrument panel and watching the experienced jumpers climb out, take grips, and launch the chunk helped me immensely. The ride down was pretty cool as well. I was charged one normal jump ticket for the ride. One of the best deals ever as I had no further issues. YMMV
  11. Let me rewrite this for you to reflect reality, not Reich Wing turdland version. People were at home sleeping peacefully. The home was invaded by armed attackers who did not belong there. One of the residents defended the home using a lawfully owned firearm. The armed attackers turned out to be LEOs who did not identify themselves as LEOs until after the shooting started. The no knock warrant that was being served was not valid. It was based on perjured statements by the LEOs. The black guy defending his home shot first. I thought that is what responsible gun owners were supposed to do when being subject to a home invasion. The reality is that this only applies to “the right kind of gun owners”, aka, white people.
  12. Good riddance to bad rubbish. A lot more of the white skinned terrorists should have been shot and killed. If the terrorists had been POC, the bodies would still be in the process of being removed I expect that tRump will try to pardon the Magats that will be arrested, after the fact. We can hope that the arrests don’t start until January 21 to prevent this abuse of pardons. tRump won’t show at the inauguration. He will be in hiding, trying to avoid being arrested as soon as the swearing in process is done and he is no longer shielded. We will see how loyal to the Constitution tRumps protective detail is. Will they hand him over into custody without issue? The USA has been dragged down to being a shithole county by the Reich Wing. Putin’s patsies have performed perfectly. His investment in Faux Spews, Newsmax, OAN, etc has paid off handsomely.
  13. This material spells out perfectly the issues at hand. The words aren't mine. Link to the source is at the end of this post. Begin quoted text>>> Like many Americans, I’m having politics fatigue. Or, to be more specific, arguing-about-politics fatigue. I haven’t run out of salient points or evidence for my political perspective, but there is a particular stumbling block I keep running into when trying to reach across the proverbial aisle and have those “difficult conversations” so smugly suggested by think piece after think piece: I don’t know how to explain to someone why they should care about other people. Personally, I’m happy to pay an extra 4.3 percent for my fast food burger if it means the person making it for me can afford to feed their own family. If you aren’t willing to fork over an extra 17 cents for a Big Mac, you’re a fundamentally different person than I am. I’m perfectly content to pay taxes that go toward public schools, even though I’m childless and intend to stay that way, because all children deserve a quality, free education. If this seems unfair or unreasonable to you, we are never going to see eye to eye. If I have to pay a little more with each paycheck to ensure my fellow Americans can access health care? SIGN ME UP. Poverty should not be a death sentence in the richest country in the world. If you’re okay with thousands of people dying of treatable diseases just so the wealthiest among us can hoard still more wealth, there is a divide between our worldviews that can never be bridged. I don’t know how to convince someone how to experience the basic human emotion of empathy. I cannot have one more conversation with someone who is content to see millions of people suffer needlessly in exchange for a tax cut that statistically they’ll never see (do you make anywhere close to the median American salary? Less? Congrats, this tax break is not for you). I cannot have political debates with these people. Our disagreement is not merely political, but a fundamental divide on what it means to live in a society, how to be a good person, and why any of that matters. There are all kinds of practical, self-serving reasons to raise the minimum wage (fairly compensated workers typically do better work), fund public schools (everyone’s safer when the general public can read and use critical thinking), and make sure every American can access health care (outbreaks of preventable diseases being generally undesirable). But if making sure your fellow citizens can afford to eat, get an education, and go to the doctor isn’t enough of a reason to fund those things, I have nothing left to say to you. I can’t debate someone into caring about what happens to their fellow human beings. The fact that such detached cruelty is so normalized in a certain party’s political discourse is at once infuriating and terrifying. The “I’ve got mine, so screw you,” attitude has been oozing from the American right wing for decades, but this gleeful exuberance in pushing legislation that will immediately hurt the most vulnerable among us is chilling. Perhaps it was always like this. I’m (relatively) young, so maybe I’m just waking up to this unimaginable callousness. Maybe the emergence of social media has just made this heinous tendency more visible; seeing hundreds of accounts spring to the defense of policies that will almost certainly make their lives more difficult is incredible to behold. I don’t know what’s changed ― or indeed, if anything has ― and I don’t have any easy answers. But I do know I’m done trying to convince these hordes of selfish, cruel people to look beyond themselves. Futility can’t be good for my blood pressure, and the way things are going, I won’t have health insurance for long. <<<End quoted text https://www.huffpost.com/entry/i-dont-know-how-to-explain-to-you-that-you-should_b_59519811e4b0f078efd98440
