  1. As usual there is a knee jerk reaction from advocacy groups with an agenda. Sometimes it is a police union, this time it is BLM or a similar group. This will not get much traction. Because once again video is going to show the truth. The officer involved is likely in real need of some time off. He has earned it and more. It's too bad there is no body cam vid. (AFAIK) But do you get the point of this thread? You are hyper aware of and watching for these events. BLM is hyper aware of and watching for these events. Everyone has an axe to grind. On both sides. They are watching out for their brothers like you are watching out for your brothers. And you both need to unfortunately. 2. Thank you for your brave service Bill. I wish there was an award I could bestow upon you. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  3. Pretty much every thinking person prefers Clinton to Trump. No surprise here. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

  5. A very well written article. Yes. "Regrettably, his essential character appears to be fixed, and he seems incapable of change or growth. " At 70 years old there is no reset or change of personality for him. Recognition of mistake is not within his personality. I don't see that his age has much to do with it. He was an asshole and didn't change in his 20s, his 30s, his 40s, his 50s, or his 60s. He is just and has always been an asshole. He can not change. Not even his hair can change. 6. When I send a customer's unit in for a scheduled service in the USA and they inform me that it needs to go to Germany and will take twice as long as it should, I would appreciate if they would tell me why. So that I can pass the information along to their customer. Instead they say nothing at all. And just leave the customer to wonder if their unit had a flaw, if it was randomly pulled for extra test for statistics, if they were too busy in Ohio and had extra capacity in Germany. Nothing. No information at all. just the usual "don't worry little skydiver, we will take care of you" shit. Airtec does not communicate anything at all to anyone ever. So, look that up for me please. I won't even start on the the recall they had to do that they refused to call a recall. I am also glad that someone is taking on the challenge of producing a wingsuit specific AAD. I wish them good luck in the project, it is a difficult task. No one here is talking bad about the product. The product is fine. I do think they should refrain from announcing a product that they do not actually have though. The only part of the company that does communicate is the marketing department. They love to brag and to put down the competition in their advertising. They remind me more and more of that other German company. Volkswagen. Pretty good product, but the marketing is less than straightforward. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  7. Soon she will be Commander in Chief. You'd better head to a remote location in the hills, build up an arsenal, and pray for the end times. Evil is as evil does. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  8. It took a lot of typing for you to get there. But in the end it is both literally and figuratively the bottom line. And I do agree with you completely on that point. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  9. It looks more to me like you have an axe to grind or are "blindly criticizing" him. Deciding for 56 year old adults that they are too risky to train is something only the most hidebound of bureaucrats would even attempt to justify. He can not understand this nonsensical ruling because it makes no sense at all. Therefore he suspects an ulterior motive. I on the other hand do not. BPA is just doing this because they have the power and power must be used. No one is acting in a corrupt way here. Just flexing the very old muscles. BPA would be better off requiring anyone over 55 to resign from their BoD. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  10. Are you kidding? Well then, she is a very talented and dedicated professional and skilled policy wonk with a deep understanding of the issues of the day and a plan to deal with them. She has the potential to be one of the most effective presidents of all time because she knows how to get things done. She is practical, pragmatic, and more hard working than almost anyone else. She has decades of experience in both foreign and domestic policy. She is tough, balanced, and thoughtful and will know what to do when hard decisions are called for. And in a day when politicians are looked at with suspicion she also has the advantage of being one of the worst politicians ever to stand for the job. She is awkward and does not come across well on a podium. She is a doer, not a glad handing time wasting, sycophant. She is 10 times the man Trump has ever been or could hope to be yet is very much a woman. Is that enough reasons? And still, no one has given even one reason why anyone would support Trump. And I suspect that is because the true reasons to do so are shameful and his supporters know that. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  11. There is no way I'm wasting 2 hours of my time watching right wing christian conservative propaganda. Here is a link to a Google search for reviews of this crap and a sample of a review to save you the time and trouble. 13. I have found a potential new stream of customers. Pokemon Go players who want to chase and catch 'em all through the sky where they might be hiding. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  14. Because Republican candidates feel like they don't have a choice which Presidential candidate THEY support. It has to be Trump. (This is changing, but very slowly.) But his nomination process is over, theirs are not. They did have a choice, and they did not choose Trump. So why should Trump support them? If they become the party nominees then Trump will support them. They have not yet earned any nomination. Trump would rather have allies to work with than enemies. This is party politics 101. 15. Educated or not, liberal or conservative. Can you give me one good reason to support Trump for POTUS? Is there one? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  16. I keep hearing about anger from the GOP leadership about Trump not supporting Ryan or McCain in their home primaries. I don't get it. Why should he not have a choice of which candidate he prefers? Both those men are openly hostile to him, so he is supporting candidates who support him. As long as he supports the eventual GOP nominee he is not stepping outside the lines. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  17. True, but in this sport we expect more. AADs are not mass produced consumer items updated every year. They are sold to a small and fanatically dedicated group of people who depend on them. Airtec can hold their secrets tightly if they want to, but it is not good for their reputation or their business. Thankfully they have competition, which is good for us all. Including Airtec. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  18. From where I sit, and what I can see, there is no good logical reason for anyone to think that Despicable Donald would make a good, or even a marginally acceptable POTUS. Yet he has had a significant number of supporters from the start, and he increased them for awhile. Even most of his supporters must know he is in no way qualified, so that leaves everyone else to speculate on the great question of the day........."What The Hell Are These People Thinking". It is my belief that most of them are not actually thinking at all. They just can't be. There are not that many stupid people in America. If they are not stupid something else is motivating them. And it is not something to be proud of, that's for sure. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  19. In England private schools are called "public". Some research tells me that a "grammer school" is a "State funded selective school". And that there are many options divided by many things, but chiefly cost and class with am element of ability thrown in. 20. Not nearly as bad ass, but the Boeing 314 Pan Am Clipper has a passage in the wing for the flight engineer to crawl though to service and oil the engines. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  21. What I find humorous is that you make those kinds of statements like you actually know what you are talking about. Maybe you don't long for those things. But you do seem to be under the impression that those times were better. It's a very human thing to remember and long for "the good old days". But the objective truth is people are living better now. Except for maybe the health effects of lack of exercise. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  22. But your responses are all just rationalizations saying it can't work, it would take too long, and it doesn't matter. There is a bottom line here. There are too many people carrying too many guns in America. It is not hard or complicated. It takes political will. That's the only thing missing. For now. You only have to look beyond your borders. But you won't. You don't want to. You want to believe you can have your cake and eat it too. You are willfully blind to simple facts. Criminals only have guns because your country is full of them. No, there is not an instant solution, but there is a long term solution. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  23. Well then, there you go. The RNC would meet behind closed doors and when they finally got a majority behind one white man they would anoint him and send a puff of white smoke through the special chimney to announce it to the adoring masses.
