Attached is a pic of Dantheman's 400th.

Also a big congratulations to Ron and Dantheman who both did their 400th jumps yesterday. It was a great cool day, very chilled out with lots of good vibes. And I got 9 jumps in! (I even stood up a couple of my landings...)

How many of you can say you were at AA's wedding? Both him and his husband looked great. -
How about the 'New Park Rules' bit in the following : http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,640190694,00.html What has been your organisation's reaction to that?

I'd be more concerned about the 3rd (delayed) cord affecting body position. If the object, say a very low span allows you to just step off then fine but if a good hard launch is required then I wouldn't be happy about that 3rd SL which will come into effect almost 1 second into the jump. Would be nice to have a span to test on. Get some video from side and make comparisons.

My response was to the original poster, apologies for not making this clear.

I'd be concerned about the launch being affected by 3rd break cord 7 feet higher than 2nd. You will be at line-stretch plus 7 feet of bridle when the 3rd break cord comes into play. I don't think this is a good thing. I've watched experienced technical BASE jumpers (Neil Q, DTM and sabre210) do SL - they always used same 2 cord system. Also, have your SL 'sets' (short, long and bungy) tied together and ready. That way you don't have to fuck around on the exit point or ask a blue elephant for a bungy. This shit is dangerous don't try learn it off the internet.

# 100 happened on my backyard - final conclusions

Was the excess bridle s-folded and stowed in a bungy? -
I like to BASE jump because I get into ridiculous situations with some good mates, then afterwards we get to have a beer and laugh about it. It is not a lifestyle, it is not who I am - I value my BASE friendships way more than any BASE jump.

I have seen live and in person three different jumpers wearing PF tracking outfits clear the road from LM in same valley. If it has a wing between the legs then it is a wingsuit.

I quite like this pic taken by Ron Luke (even though it makes my bum look big).

I've seen a recent ad in Skydiving and the Skydive mag which is bothering me. It is a Cypres ad using a photo taken by Olav Zipser. Could someone please tell me who the subject (flying head down in a suit holding the Emmy) is? I'm pretty certain who it is but would like confirmation. Thanks, Will

And I bet you didn't make one pack job the whole day!

And The List continues.

Why would you want to? My knee/shin, elbow/forearm and spine protector all fit very nicely under my PF tracking outfit. By incorporating the pads into the outfit I think you only stand to lose performance since the fabric can't pressurize freely and also could move around. I want my pads secured around the areas they are meant to protect, not built into fabric that moves around. These suits don't fit snug like motorcycle suits that have built in armour. Will

OK, I've just got the call. I met her at the Eloy boogie 2 years ago, she was such a cool chick. Strong personality with a wicked sense of humour. My thoughts with all her family and friends. I'm going to buy a fine bottle of Argentinian dry red and have a drink in her honour. This weekend has not been good.

What is going on? One fatality and two other injuries off the bridge today - is this report correct? http://www.ktvb.com/news/localnews/stories/ktvbn-may2906-BASE_fall_NEW.347a4151.html

I'm sorry to hear this, I enjoyed watching him fly in Douggs' movies and was looking forward to meeting him this summer. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Race between car and wingsuit on UK TV - Top Gear

I have no idea who won but considering how gobby you've been on here I'm willing to take a guess... -
He was asking who the jumper is not what the object is. He asked if the object was in a Sky ad which is correct (Sky+ when they were showing the pause/rewind feature).
-
I dunno, with all the yahooing and high-fiving he seemed pretty much like your average seppo BASE jumper to me...

Holy shit, I can understand what you are writing. Looks like that embolism did some good to your brain!
