Eh, they said the same thing about us when we graduated and I would guess we have a 20 year separation (or there about) in class dates. BAC Grads land like "crap", most round jumpers tend to land like "crap". It is a small part of the bigger Job, and they do what they need to walk away with out injury so they can do their mission, but you know that and I am not teaching you any thing new of course. "We" do this Skydiving thing (Mostly) because it is a fun and exciting Hobby and we want to keep doing it so we learn to land better. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Correct and knowing one of the Jumpers personally (who had video proving his innocence) he stated it cost him over 5 grand to get the fine and violation tossed out. SO busting a cloud is not an "oh well" affair. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

It is useful for Skydiving Skills, but takes a bit of concentration on looking into the outlet to know if your still centered. If in TN and looking for a tunnel to use for Skydiving Skills I would use AAC, in NC I would use XP. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

James, Thanks I knew I gave consent to the DL part but could not remember if there was a second part to that sentence asking about medical stuff. SO how long after the 6 to 8 weeks is the Temporary good for? has any one had to use the Temp for a whole season waiting for the Actual Class (what ever # here) to arrive? Come on Dude! You know very well this is crap advice so stop giving it! You also know the Pin check in the Plane is because of jumper movement, all the rebels who are too cool can give all the looks they want, but in the end Pin Checks have worked and caught potentially deadly issues before they had a chance to be so! To the OP From Me as a Former, Jump Branch Master Trainer of the U.S. Army Airborne School. DO NOT Give any one a Pause if you are doing the Mass Exit jumps though or you'll Fuck the jumpers on the other side of the Aircraft. Best to be first or last if you are that concerned over it, but in 200+ Army Static Line jumps I only had 1 Mid air collision and I was the lower jumper. Do it once you get smoked by SGT ABN, twice and kicked out for unsafe jumper conduct. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Yep, the three center cells have "Caps" that are removable (if you want, once the canopy "breaks in") they are put on after the canopy is fully assembled. This slows the "abruptness" of the openings down, but they can still be "stout". I went to the web page and agree it is a little old fashioned, but I normally did all my business with Red over the Phone and Fax. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. And to add most all the Military Teams in the US has used them at one point and most still do. With the new option for a ZP top skin they "last" longer and the "Nose Caps" help to ease the openings up. For "Down Town" Demo's I can't think of more than three canopy Models than can do what the Trac's do. But if the OP is looking for a weekend fun Canopy the all ZP 9 Cell models might be the better way to go. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
