How do those numbers compare to the over all job loss rate from the same time period? We in TN just lost another 663 jobs to go with the 1500+ lost earlier in March. 2100+ jobs lost in 30 ish days. It is a fun tunnel to fly in (on?). For a Skydiver its only draw back is the lack of a Vertical Reference like other tunnels. Until you can turn 100% of the time in place and carry no momentum after completing a move, be prepared to fall off the wind cone. Falling can be funny and frustrating. The Engineer said a while back they have built a "Tube" that bolts in to place (by appointment) to make it a bit more like the Sky Venture set up, but I have never verified that, nor used it. But the point i was getting towards was only one person wore a real loose flappy suit and he was trying to see how low the speed could get and still fly in it. You know the saying about making assumptions? Don't presume to know who I voted for. In TN the Stimulus did not stop our Teacher Cuts. SOME of our "Shovel Ready Projects started and others stopped, State claims the money did NOT come in. We may be insignificant to your numbers, but those families may very well be waiting for the phased in HC bill and hoping the two parties can get their heads out of their asses fast, so they have some thing to live off of. IS Unemployment dropping? TN just announced another 1000 Jobs lost today alone! 800 cuts in the State and 200 at BAE, a Body Armor company. They also have major school district layoffs but no numbers yet, it is estimated to be in between 800 and 1100 more lost jobs. Where I work we had to lay off a few folks, cut salaries and benefits to keep the company open. We are also looking at more cuts in staffing and freelancers to save money to keep the small staff we do have employed. And they also had to drop some 20,000 TENCARE patients do to the system going bankrupt. From where I am sitting, things aren't looking to rosy yet. I hope this phased in fix starts to work soon.
