I think it is not good idea to pull toggle in line twist cos both toggles are set close to stall and if you pull it further on one side it would stall in turn i think but it would be cool to try on skyjump. How about off heading and line twist simulator? My idea was to take old canopy and hang it under plate or frame so it looks like pressurized when its hung up on one point in the middle. Then hang it up to tree, it would need to have someone to control both body heading and the canopy heading by ropes. Student would not know how operators set up off heading or line twist before jumping of platform in the tree. Then by feeling and knowledge operators would modify heading how student reacts. Quality of this simulator would be based on its operators. Benjamín

Ye the first weekend in august in Vestmanneyjar is fantastic, me and my friend jumped from a plane into the festival 2003 and got free in instead. The cliffs how around this festival are maybe jumpeble so next time i will go there i will take my baserig with me. happy birthday yesterday the Roket suit wich Martin and his sister made is wery simple and flys faster than Prodigy. and if you want to fly 2+ you can use birdman, S-fly, sugar glider and deadmanwalking

Actually the drinking season never stops but we have more time for it in the winter time . Our famous mushroom season is peaking so the party is now STARTING! When the snow is on the ground its usually best to jump in middle of the night cos of depth perception in the snow and calmer weather. If you have moonlight or northern lights you will see better in the night time. Iceland is one of the easiest place to be able to jump with great northern lights This picture was taken close to my home town.

Cool, has anyone jumped the main building in the capital (without site nameing its simply the tallest at 240ft). That building is 225 feet and 150-170 vertical, it has not been jumped for several reason´s also whats the biggest delay ya's have got off a cliff ? http://www.ismennt.is/not/jonasg/0landid/jg03/lomagnupur/lomagnupur02.html Martin was the first to out fly it in his Rocket-Suit. I met Coombesy in Lysebotn 3 years ago when I was just starting BASE jumping and he was in Norway for the first time. We hit it off well because we had similar interests in things other than jumping. I thought of him as a world class BASE jumper especially because he didn't think of himself in that way, he gave everyone an equal chance and an equal amount of shit. Every jumper who met Coombesy in Lysebotn thought of him as part of that place. I could understand it more when he moved to Iceland by a strange coincidence and I could see how he looked at everything with an open mind and said, "where ever I lay my head that's my home". Coombesy, you are greatly missed by my friends and family. When we went to Australia a month ago, he showed me how much he knew about and respected nature - I have never seen anything like it before. I was honoured to be able to meet Coombesy's family and friends and to see how everybody loved him. He taught me a lot about living life and not taking yourself too seriously. Coombesy you made a big positive impact on my life and I hope that I returned the favour in some way. You were the most pure spirit I have ever met. hi there, we have endless amount of cliffs from 50-800 meters some of them are waterfalls. Best time is june to august cos the light is 24 hours and in middle of the night wind dies down. Landing areas are most flat grass,sand,glacier or sea. It is not for beginner cos its all cliffs, for experient jumper you can find allot of cool cliffs to jump from. If you want to jump and have fun in Iceland I can help you with all no worries. Coombesy has left to Norway, I will go and meet him there and some of you in june. take care Benjamín
