  2. That was really cool! Also to Matt's comment, can you imagine the frustration and mental meltdown that would generate for Mike "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  3. Talking with Spot some and WOW!! Sounds like there is some really COOL stuff planned! Otter from Zona coming up and what sounds like a fantastic group of WS'ers showing up. Should be a great weekend that I cant wait for! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  4. Well worth it! Spot put a lot into last years event and it sounds like this will be way better! Scott "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  5. The Ground level is about 5000' and we had roughly a 18,000' AGL exit altitude to play with given the 22,900' MSL exit. Really nothing near that height for the first couple of miles given the terrain below with the exit on top of the mountain and then the about 2 miles you have to fly before even having a semi safe landing spot on this particular run. The flight I did measured at approx 6.5 to 6.75 miles with a time of 4min and 15sec shown on my Neptune. Opening was between 2500' and 3000' agl giving a fall window of about 15,000' I was flying my Raptor Not bad on Distance given there was a good quartering head wind as well in the 20's Scott C. 6. I'll second that No kidding WOW! No Love for JJ, not that he deserves any but WOW,so blatant!

    Breaking Bad

I have been following the show since the beginning and really enjoy it. The episodes have twists and turns but you held a kernel of hope or concern for Hal and Jessie as nice'ish guys out of their element out of circumstances. After the last episode, which I just watched, there seems to have been a dramatic swinging of the pendulum.. Jessie is still looking like he is a small time guy caught in the Big Time. I still find him as probably the nicest person in the show with some pretty good acting bringing out that nice guy in way over his head. The actor is good at showing glimpses of the characters emotions, really well acted IMHO. Hal has turned a corner in this episode and you saw much of his desire to be recognized for his hard work, which had been building over the shows come more blatantly out there to the viewer. You thought or had the impression that he was coming back more to the character that was predominant in the beginning but BBAAAMMMMMMNNN, how it switched in the end.. I am curious how they are going to resolve this. The show right now has a good edge and has done a good job of keeping it true to how it started through this point in the second season so congrats on the entire production. That said, not sure how much they will have to sacrifice to keep the show running.. I hope it continues to burn really bright and then goes away.. I just don't see how you can keep it going at the same level of intensity and character development for much longer. The story line is ramping up and it just can't continure with out some major charachter changes.. Cool show and looking forward to the next few episodes.. Scott C. 10. That was AWESOME! Nice job Lurch! Also for Reed to hold steady while the transition happened, looked a little wobbly but pulled it off nicely! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  11. OMG, that is funny. First Skttles then Andrea, who knew just what a SLUT Justin is. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

  13. The sailplane footage is really cool! I was wondering on the angle issue on the pic in the thread. I thought it might have been an exit but it does not seem to be a dock from coming back to the AC..... Still a cool looking pic no matter what. Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  14. 0 (traveling so not at Home): 25 : 0 Flat out a fantastic weekend in Kamloops Canada for the 42nd Annual May Meet.. Great group of jumpers and some really fun wingsuit jumps! Now I get to do it all over again at "The Ritz" this weekend! Organizing does suck... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  15. I was thinking about Charlie Mullins as soon as i read the thread title! I don't remember exactly his age but he was pretty young... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  16. I agree with Lurch in that it would be good to know the story of the pic behind the pic... Any info about it available?? Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  17. We were talking about this in Kamloops last weekend and one of the points of discussion was the Viso and the Speed Meter mode. According to the manual: ------------------------------------- Speed-Meter Mode When the VISO is set to Speed-Meter mode, the “ALTI”, “Feet/Meter”, “Mph/Kmh” and “TAS/SAS” icons are ON. Note: The VISO will display the altitude during climb and switch to Speed-Meter during the freefall and under canopy. Date/Time area switches OFF during the freefall and under canopy. Speed-Meter Display during the freefall Speed resolution is in 1 Mph (1 Kmh) increments. Important Notice about Speed Recordings: Experience has shown that when mounting the VISO on the hand or belly, different air pressures induced by hand or body movements may result in incorrect recordings of speeds. ------------------------------------- I did not get a chance to try it but I am planning on getting one and mounting it to my Ringsite to see if it is a viable alternative to making one. I am hoping to do this next weekend but we will see if I can get my hands on one before then... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  18. +1 on the HYPEYE MINI.. Mine works great! "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  19. Now that the Fantastic weekend at the Kamloops May Meet is over I can focus in on "The Ritz". I will have a good number of wingsuits and want to get the flock going even more in the NW! Want your First Wingsuit Flight, Some more Coaching to get yourself more dialed in, want to try a new suit out or just want info GO TO THE BOOGIE!!.... Lots of talk about the Boogie and I want my portion to kick some ass, spread the word and come get your Flock on! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  20. Awesome Weekend! Lots of jumps and really some nice flying by the "Rusty" Canadians! With the lack of jumping in the winter, so they say, how in the world do they practice the after hours proficiency?? It was good times day and night. The days really offered up some great weather and great opportunity to get our flock on.... There are some good things happening in BC I must say... This is the first May Meet I have been to that almost had more Wingsuits then any other single discipline, it was fun. The group was really getting better (think about above mentioned rust) and started dialing it in.. I think the flock will be a fantastic group to go play with... Many thanks go to the Skydive Kamloops for the opportunity to come up again this year. A special thanks / recognition to the whole group involved in that club as they are flat out a fantastic group of dedicated jumpers! I will be looking forward to next year
  21. Why does that not surprise me at all? Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  22. Across the street from the airport and DZ is a huge field that people use for Tents and Campers. Basically cross the street and you are at the DZ.... "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  23. Cool Fun there! Who were the other WS'ers Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  24. Nice Shots! Night is tough... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
  25. HC5 is a 37mm thread and the Ranox which I also use is a zoom through. YOu might look at the single element lenses as they are more low profile: http://www.cookiecomposites.com/shop/Accessories/46/index.htm Have to go Manual and setis before jumping it but might give a wide field of view Scott C "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
