  1. Check into reverse DNS lookups. We had the same issue with AOL, it was getting bounced or putting in the spam box. Due to virtual hosting, the reverse DNS lookup did not match the sending server. Ask your ISP. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  2. Saweeeet, you should be her tandem dummy. I want to fly video on that load. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  3. Ditto to that. congrats Ladies! Now if I could just go back to being a student. Actually.....either of them could outfly me anyday of the week. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  4. Wow, you guys are some logging fools. You are gonna hate my answer. Around jump number 200, I got my D license and quit logging. It started at an AOT Boogie 2001 I think but might we way off. I had a camera, and I got tired of writing. I had a basic idea, and would tally rough numbeers for totals but had no idea on what each jump was. So, I knew about when I hit each hundred. I just dont really like logging, I like reading my log descriptions in the beginning, but now I have video. Since getting my Neptune I have started logging again at jump 500, but it will be all Paralog this time around, I have much more patience for that. Just like Dave, I am here to jump, not log. I dont care about SCR (never sent it in) don't care about wings, I already have my D, etc. I would rather have stories like airtwardo, than a stack of 50 logbooks. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  5. He is coming to Dallas. Tickets go on sale tomorrow: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0C003A68D8DCC197 -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  6. My advice is follow this tutorial: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/troubleshoot/ It might next be an issue of what do you want to do over the connect, that is more of an issue of Windows networking. For that, try this tutorial. http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_filesharing/ -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  7. Some of those are pretty good. Of course with some people they might not have a lot of effect. I have come to learn that some people like words...I freaking love them...they are like paintbrushes for emotion...and other people really see them more as a passing, fallible descriptor. In other words, you may say what you like, but is some action does not seems to line up with it tomorrow, those words maybe be just a collection of letters. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

  11. I second this, but in the opposite direction. I run legacy (16 bit software) heavily in a testing environment. It runs best in this order: XP Pro Win98 Win2K There really are structural improvements in XP. Examine the registry hives, and system level functions. While the GUI is most obvious, there are differences. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  12. That doesn't quite count as deleted. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
  13. You dont need to have XP to network with XP, unless you are using some weird Microsoft stuff to manage your connection, but advise using the NICs utility program anyway, works better. However, I will say....I was a HARDCORE fan of 2K, but upon making the switch to XP about 18 months ago to be consistent with my work environment, I love it! The driver database is MUCH better, in addition to some things that really do make it easier. However, that being said, I run with all the 'candy' easy sharing turned off, start menu in classic mode, control panel in classic mode, TweakUI running, etc. So....if you set it up right, visual functionality is very close to 2K. I would also highly recommned Xp Pro, if you care about networking and related managment. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

  19. So glad you asked I LOVE my theme. I am using a proggy called StyleXP http://www.tgtsoft.com/ It allows you to change everything about your GUI's visual style with unsigned themed as apposed to M$ bs ones. Then I am using a theme called Winamp19 from http://www.themexp.org The thing I really really like is the psuedo LEDs on the buttons. Blue is active, green is mouse over, and blinking orange is an attempt to get focus. PM me if you want more info. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

  23. PM me if you like. I addressed more of a workaround to find wireless settings that were not showing up. The curious thing with yours would be that several others worked from the same PC. Either way PM me or any other Field Service Rep if you like. If it has gone back to Alti-2 or if you call them, they will take care of you with great support. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
