I've jumped Velocity 103 and Katana 107 on the same day. They were close.

I am surprised someone with 1000+ experience is asking this question, if your profile is correct. This has been ask and answer multiple times in the forum. Who says? Someone with a virgin profile? Is it your real first post here or just hiding?

Wearing Vibram Five Fingers while Skydiving?
phoenixlpr replied to hokierower's topic in Gear and Rigging
Well, I know a guy who jump with bare feet if the weather is warm. As a student you wear proper footware, as a D licensed jumper you jump in whatever you want to. -
If you get something caught with the equipment on your head it might not be a good idea to launch a reserve in the middle of the mess.

"Marko Mike" Memorial Wingsuit Boogie & Competition - Hungary
phoenixlpr replied to mccordia's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Negative? This event was from Thursday to Sunday, competition until Saturday evening. There was some rain on Friday. As long the competition was going people was busy competing there, after Saturday night they were having a hangover after the party or just leaving. We got only 2 flights with Alex. -

Scirocco - new x-braced main by Skylark
phoenixlpr replied to frost's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
They are in full production, but perhaps you ment introduction price? I really don't know. The web site doesn't say anything about it (I think, I only read the russian site via Google Translate). Perhaps they want to keep the price low to get more canopies out there to get some brand awareness? Sure and half of the jumpers in US ans West Europe are flying canopies and jumping rigs made in Russia and Ukraine, right? -
Have you tried searching?

Pros & Cons of M.A.R.D (Was: Skyhook Activation Stories)

Any one has a picture about it? -
I've heard a case when someone died because she could not launch her reserve due to a bent pin.
-
It sounds like you already spent too much time on a certain social(???) site.

Alpine skydiving for anyone?
-
The real question is, how many have been avoided by doing a quick pin check? As far as any certifiable fatalities cause by not checking a reserve pin...I don't really know, maybe none....but I am positive that that's one case of beer I never wanna owe! Read with me again
-
Why should I check it? Reserve pin does not move. I don't check it more than once a day unless I get a bump. Thanks God, not all places have this excessive pin check culture. That was a nice try to drive by fear....Did it ever work on grown ups?

“Hard landing in strong/gusty winds” fatalities
phoenixlpr replied to GLIDEANGLE's topic in Safety and Training
That was f...king scary. Very odd to see someone on a 98 sq ft x-brace come in so conservatively though. I think there is something more to this story. If he was worried about the winds he flew his canopy completely wrong (ie. all the toggle inputs). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e70RDItSTe8 Whole thing started with flaring high. I could not see his left hand. -
New Packing Weights ~ Alternate filler material?
phoenixlpr replied to Unstable's topic in Gear and Rigging
I made some with sand ones once, but found that as they wore out (used a double needle machine with about 12 Stitches per inches the sand started dribbling out the sides ~ which I wasn't thrilled with. How about sealing in plastic first? I hope you had more than a sewing machine to work with . -
