  1. I guess the common thing is keep the bridle inside. I do follow Brian Germain's way anyway. Its fast and neat.
  2. Well, yes. Sometimes me, too. Like when I come across posts like you and liftedtitan are putting up. You CAN elect to go elsewhere, right? Just ignore him, a hawk is not hunting for flies or frogs. He would be buzzing around as long he gets any attention....
  3. So , you suggest that my having a camera on the helmet directly caused the PC entanglement ? Not wishing to troll or start flaming here btw. I respect your opinion (as you have more jumps than me), and I've read all the threads regarding camera flying, yet I was not able to find a single scenario in which a camera would cause PC inflation problems or PC-bridle entanglement. The only camera related problem I can think of is bridle wrapping round the camera, but since this was not the case... It is always a chain of event. That could be the first chain. You should not have any business with camera yet. Which part of the youtube movies are you really proud? Try not to take it personal, but you fly like shit and land like crap. Eventually you got lucky to survive that jump. And it was just luck. Why do you carry a camera? Because you can not be a cool freeflyer without it? I wish cameras would be as heavy and as expensive as they use to be, so guys like you would have more common sense leave them alone before you are ready for that! Agreed. Actually, I did attempt to do that, but was not able to catch the bridle behind my back. Think I'll train for this scenario on the ground just in case I get another PC in tow. I do not criticize you action in the mal. I would go for the very same path. It would make no sense. You got some seconds to decide and you did the right thing at least on your level. I do not believe in mid-air rigging either. You landing with your reserve is a shame anyway.
  4. Jumping with camera at #138? What do you expect?
  5. Anyone can break his or herself on the next jump. Can you see the connection?
  6. Brian Germain mentioned some trick like this as "hokey hockey".
  7. Its a clear sign of the rigger style of autism. You are just about to create a hard edge with your hot knife. Think about the life span of a closing loop! Who cares about some loose and soft edge?
  8. I got 400+ WS flights mostly on a VectorII and a Javelin from `96 without any modification. I've been using a 24" kill line ZP PC on regular bridle and a 28" ZP kill-line PC with long bridle and I had a 32" F111 kill-line PC with a short bridle before. No problems at all. All I do is place the d-bag with the bridle to the grommet.
  9. Cobalt135 @WL 1.7+, I got bored with my Triathlon160 (WL 1.5). I barely get a boring opening with Cobalt .
  10. If you have a T520 from Strong you have to do that way. I was told that T520 can be propacked only once.
  11. Was this situation resolved? If not, can you please e-mail me - [email protected] Thanks
  12. For start forget about your Neptune, because your vertical component is just the half of the picture. Get a GPS unit like iBlue 747+, Qstarz BT-QT1000X or BT-Q1300S than you can see your trajectory as it is. Than what is your goal? Maximum delay? Maximum speed? Maximum distance? Maximum speed? Those are cannot achieved all in the same time.
  13. Read my word business man. If there is a strong demand and lot of queuing than you can not get the maximum profit out of the business and that profit can not go to R&D....... It seems to was not there and checking my Stealth back than, I got some "funky" cut there. If he wants to do everything, than some areas might suffer like support/customer relationship.....
  14. I'm sure a real business man would organize more capacity for building suit if there is such a big demand. I have heard that all exisiting V3 orders might not be served before V4(?) would come out.
  15. Have you(2) started a local pissing contest here?
  16. Have you ever flown at least any of them? I did. V3 is an agile suit and X-Wing is a dragster. In other words after jumping Stealth a lot, V3 was very easy to fly and X-Wing was really difficult for me. They are still not comparable just in skydiving distance or glide ratio competition. I would not even think about jumping BASE with X-wing. http://picasaweb.google.com/gabor.szelei/XWing?authkey=Gv1sRgCPiLzYel27XlZg# http://picasaweb.google.com/gabor.szelei/Skydive2009#
  17. Sure, if one is buying a similar product. Blade is similar to a Pro-fly/Ghost. Really? S-Fly is a monowing, Ghost and Blade is a tri-wing, that is similar to any wing suit.
  18. Do you spread all of your arm wing open?
  19. You rather get a GPS signal repeater if you jump that plane regularly. Oh and get a MTK2 chipset based GPS. Those have 66 channels to track satellites and really high sensitivity. They _can_ log your track by 5Hz without any hack.
  20. No one said it changes shape, but since the bag is wider on the bottom than it is from the top, the split design helps to fill the bag properly on the bottom. I have one and I think its great. The only people I have hear complaining about it, are those who are packing it the first time and get confused. Once you learn how to pack it, you will realize how good it is. I used to use a split bag with velcro. I hated much. I don't want to have or pack anything like that.
  21. I got a chance to fly with Alex. He got some videos what difference can be between a German and a Hungarian Stealth and their fliers I got a brand new P2 in my bag, I had no time to try it yet.
  22. Max of what? Max of float? Max of speed? Max of distance/glide?
  23. I disagree. I fly to time to time with people in smallish suits. They fly slow horizontally. I used to watch them from below when I was flying my Phantom. I got lot better chances with Stealth to match their speed and fall rate. A flying carpet has range. We has to learn how to use it wisely.
  24. I used to have a Pilot150 from 2004. Its opened very nice without end cell closures. My WL was 1.3-1.4.
