  1. Well I'll be damned, how's that for a career change? There you go, that would be the best way to contact him.
  2. No one, as far as I know, has heard from Martin since he and Tracey got out of the sport and went back home across the pond. You might want to contact Dave Matchett, current DZM at Delmarva, or Brian Kunkowski, DZO, to see if they have any contact info for him. They can be reached through [email protected] or 888-875-3540. -Bobby

    Aspartame

Careful, some dz.commers might work for the FDA. *cough* me *cough* ...but I work with medical devices, so I know nothing about food issues.
  4. You know, I've read a lot of threads about how great the tunnel is, but you're the first to come out and say it... "You heavy mother-f'ers can fly here without a ZP tunnel suit." I'm sold.
  5. Exactly, and that brings us back to the topic of this thread. If big dropzones were to step up the the plate and say "Since I have the numbers, I am making a stance against Skyride by not accepting their certificates. As one of the big-shots, I (should) have the responsibility of standing up for the sport as a whole."
  6. here's mine. the first pic is the most recent, the other two are a few years old.
  7. Good work, Dave. As a guy who runs a fairly large and prominent part of the skydiving industry (online skydiving videos), I think it is great that you are taking such a stance. I hope other prominent figures (big dz's, major teams, sponsors, manufacturers, etc.) will take a similar stance.
  8. Fuck you too Tailplane . PERSONAL ATTACK! PERSONAL ATTACK!

    new ipod..

don't get the touch. for the size of the device it has very little storage. i have an 8gb nano and love it because i mostly use it when i run. if you have a big collection of music and dont mind the size, i'd go for the big storage regular one.
  10. does it have anything to do with meatspin.com?
  11. As far as I know, Rawa doesn't make mounts, just helmets and boxes. (Edit - apparently they do, my fault. see post below) Cookie sells a specialized mount because the top of their helmets are not flat. Since the Rawa has a flat top, you can just use a flat quick release like the Stroboframe, Schumacher, GoldMember, Really Right Stuff, etc.
  12. www.aerostore.com This is the only dealer I know of in the US that sells Rawa.
  13. Damn dude. I can't believe this. We only met in person on one occasion, but in that short period of time we had a ton of fun and you made a lasting impression. Thanks for the Rare Red Dessert Penguin balloon jump misadventure, the high altitude wingsuit jump I did with you and Taya where you tumbled on exit and we totally lost each other, the countless breakfast burritos, all the great flocking, and all of your thoughtful posts on here. You were one of the good ones. You will definitely be missed. So long brother
  14. Just so not to be taken by surpise irish Dave is aka BobDino, he tries to trick people with that pseudonym Damnit Squeak you ruined the surprise. Stupid Aussies...
  15. Congrats Tink! Way to score one way out of your league!

  17. sorry for the quality/size... couldn't really do any better with what i've got on my work computer.
  18. Whatever you do, make sure you stay away from Irish Dave. He's a real wanker. Everyone else is really cool though.
  19. me and my little sister, circa '88 or '89
  20. You are such a liar. I know all 3 of them and I can confirm that none of them look great in real life. Nonetheless, great shot Arvel!
  21. We are limited by file size as to what we can post here, so even if someone does post something big, chances are it won't be the best quality. If you are looking for a particular discipline for your wallpaper, maybe someone can find one and link to the webpage that has the full-size.
  22. great shots as always, arvel! thanks again for the printed shots from last week. oh, and is that hangover gone yet?? that'll teach you to steal my sleeping bag!

    Photoshoped?

I doubt it is fake since Felix Baumgartner jumped the Corcovado statue a few years back. That is Corcovado, and I think I can see a logo on the canopy, which would be Red Bull, Felix's sponsor (at least for that jump).
  24. I've heard great things about Maytown as well. Nice little small cessna dz with cheap jumps, and of course Handsome Dave DeWolfe. And since Delmarva is only 2 or 3 hours from Maytown, I'd recommend coming down our way. We're a turbine (Otter) dz, but we definitely have a homely feel. Lots of bbq'ing and bonfires. We're like one big happy dysfunctional family, and we love company.
