it will no longer be the latest and greatest thing on the market. and for lots of people, if its not the best thing out there, there's no point in having it. iPhone 2.0 won't be that either, so if you really want cutting edge you should look around as there are other options. honest question here, not trying to be a smartass or anything, but what are the other better options to the iphone?

so with skyfest, the talk of 4 "suits", a new skin, shirts with the PD logo... it sounds to me that someone, possibly PD, is unveiling a line of 4 new jumpsuits at skyfest. does that make sense to anyone else?

Barefoot Ted is a an ultrarunner who swears by the Vibram FF's. He also tests their new products for them. They definitely allow you to build up strength in your feet by using muscles that we don't usually use because we are accustomed to shoes. They look cool and I'd like to get some sometime in the near future to build foot strength for my upcoming ultrarunning adventures. Let me know how they work out.

I lost my FFX w/ PC105 at Rantoul '05. (It actually happened the day after you got your nice Parachutist centerfold shot of our inflatable gator muff dive.) On the jump where I lost the helmet it was a funneled inflatable jump (yeah, too many inflatables that week I guess) and I was supposed to hold the thing if it went to crap. It went to crap and people still held on. During the whole ordeal someone must have grazed my chinstrap and *whoosh* byebye helmet. I searched all over for it, even did a flyby in the chopper where I thought it might be... no luck. Someone ended up finding it and turning it in to manifest. 105 and my ProTrack were both dead, but luckily the helmet was salvagable (minor cracks in the shell but otherwise fine). Luckily I was at Rantoul and the L&B dude swapped my busted ProTrack for a brand new one. Got a used 105 off ebay for pretty cheap and I was back in business.

do you have a pic of the left shoulder outline before it got touched up? i'd be curious to see the before/after of the fix. either way, very nice tats! i like the badass lady liberty!

Would you buy/wear a wicking tshirt with a skydiving related logo/saying on it? There's a million dollar idea, folks - run with it. Sure, why not. (Given that someone can offer one for a decent price, knowing how much performance apparel runs these days).

I generally don't wear skydiving tshirts to the dz because they're usually made of cotton. I wear loose Under Armour shirts to the dz because I can work up a good sweat on most days and a wicking tshirt is wayyy better than a cotton tee. Why Under Armour? Because I used to work for them so I have tons of it.

Given that the only other choice for the sidemount is a TonyFly box, I would imagine that 2KC is making their own box that has the other end of the Zkulls mount. Anyone know how much this helmet is gonna run? Or when it'll be available?

I just finished "Ultramarathon Man - Confessions of an All Night Runner" by Dean Karnazes. Really good read about ultramarathon running that is pretty inspiring and has some decent humor scattered through it too. One of my favorite books right now. That's my recommendation.

i use www.google.com/ig and i love it. you can add as many news sources, blogs, applications, etc. and choose where everything goes. it's a nice clean look since it doesnt have any ads or banners. and of course, it serves as a google search page. on mine i have my gmail, bookmarks, local weather and dz weather, quote of the day, to-do list, date and time, and news headlines. very convenient as a homepage.

I hope not in the US - the pilot could have faced - or may be facing - hell right now. The original thread has all that info. It was done in Puerto Rico. He had on a climbing-type harness under his shorts and the other jumper clipped into it when he straddled him.
