I have no fear or anxiety driving down the Motorway at 80mph without wearing a seatbelt, but I DO have it for jumping out of a plane. Why can't I transfer my "No worries" approach to driving over to skydiving ? I'm afraid of a double mal and going in hard, but I'm not afraid of a blowout and going through the windscreen. I'm aware about the level of responsibility you take for yourself and others around you on a skydive but do not feel that same level of resonsibility on the road. What gives ? The "Squeal like a pig" scene was very disturbing. Fantastic acting by Ned Beatty in that scene. you really felt his fear and humiliation. And how did Ronny Cox get that arm in the position he did on the rock? Is he able to dislocate his arm as he sees fit or was it just a very clever prosthetic ?
