I got a disagreement going on with myself at the moment, and it's in my head in a type of Jekyl and Hyde bout. One minute, Jekyl is saying I'm gonna go back to AFF in August, then Hyde takes over telling me I'm gonna chicken out. This is going on constantly and it's driving me nuts. I haven't read any of the other responses before typing this, I'll do that after. But here's what I figured when I first saw it. The Machines had no direct access to Smith's program and so was unable to delete him. Neo was plugged into the matrix via the machine world's connection. When Smith infected Neo with his replicating program, this allowed the machines access to it, enabling them to send a virus / deletion programme of their own. Because all the Smith's were linked together, this program was able to spread and erase the existence of Smith, returning all that he infected to their original programs. Smith's comment about him seeing the end, and then becoming confused when it didn't pan out as he was expecting could be explained by the fact that the end he saw was through Neo's eyes (post infection) rather than his own. Don't say that . OK, so proper soccer is a contact sport and people who play it can get injured (I broke my leg back in 2000 playing it), but there are alternative versions. Kick-Ass Soccer used to be a particular favorite in the school grounds. Instead of tackling for the ball you kicked the ass of the guy in possession of the ball. As soon as you scored a direct hit, the guy relinquishes possession to you. If you kick the ass of a guy not in possession, or you missed the ass area altogether then it's classed as a foul and instead of a free kick being awarded there is 10 seconds of 'Open Season' on the fouler. As I'm sure you can understand, this version of soccer encouraged passing of the ball rather than dribbling. It also encouraged a lot of kids to take up Rugby instead. Whether or not he will put Jump numbers or date signed up to DZ.COM I don't know, but an indication for trolls might be good. I don't know if there are any plans to delete such trolls from the user list. Those that put up a profile, post a few times, get bored and leave. The first DZ I ever went to was a small one, I arrived first thing in the morning, second only to the DZO. The first thing he said to me was "Don't park on the grass mate, just park off to the side of the road there." That's an original greeting. After that the only people I talked to for the whole weekend was the two JM's for my AFF and a fellow student. This was before I discovered DZ.COM and I figured that the sport was one where Cliques and exclusive groups were the norm. Out of all the other weekends I spent there, only one other person took the time to introduce themselves to me. I'm not an outgoing kind of person so wasn't able to take it upon myself to break into the obvious groups that had been formed long before my arrival. The Second DZ I went to was arguably one of the largest in the country. Initially no-one was there to greet me or show me around, but I managed to find my own way to the lounge and saw what seemed to be a family there, sitting nervously and quietly. I said hi and asked them what they were there for. The guy said he brought his son and daughter there to do a Tandem and were waiting for the first load of the day. We got to chatting for a bit about skydiving and other bits, and then he asked if I was an instructor there. I thought that was really funny not having passed AFF student status yet. Anyway, the point is that sitting there, chatting to those people seemed to relax them until the Tandem Masters came in to brief the newbies. Having someone to start a genuine conversation with me at a new DZ, rather than getting a passing "Looking forward to your first jump?" question, walking off not waiting for a response of more than one word is all I would ask. The third DZ I went to, forget about it. After introducing myself and why I was there, I sat outside in the packing area for just over 2 hours before somebody said a word to me. I agree with removing the ranks. Maybe it would be better to have jump numbers up there, or something to show equivalent experience instead.
