The years I spent addicted to Viagra were some of the hardest of my life.

Do you have to explicitly lie to lie about something? There are lots of ways to introduce innuendo, doubt, imply etc without making specific statements. The infamous "When did you stop beating your wife?" type of questions and comments etc.

Maher's a "politically incorrect" comedian, writer, producer, actor, and television host. He describes himself as a progressive libertarian. But trying to score points by quoting clips of a comedian is pretty lame.

I was taught that the top of the center cell gets the most wear because of packing. Once the canopy is cocooned, the packer is laying on top of just the center cell. So all the friction and all the sweat & stuff get on the top of the center cell.

And he is an excellent person to spearhead this. After all, he killed Saddam Hussein with his trusty AR-15 while he was in the Green Berets.

I’m a second generation American on one side, third on the other. No antecedents in the US before the Civil War, and they’re all Swedish, so their imperialistic conquering is a thousand years ago. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t benefitted from being white, and (when I was young at least) blond and reasonably good looking. I feel no guilt for any of those things, but I do feel guilt when I behave as though I’ve earned those advantages. I’ve worked on some of them, but I know people who have worked as hard, and harder, and not gotten as far ahead. I’ve been hired because I was white (a waitress job — didn’t know it at the time), and denied work because I’m female. The guilt is participating in a society that doesn’t, in fact, entirely grant equal opportunity. There is a window available for most people, but it’s really big for some folks, and really small for others. Acknowledging that, and acknowledging that things aren’t always perfect, doesn’t lessen what you’ve earned. Just a reminder to be grateful, and to share Wendy P.

Just curious - do you find it similarly outrageous how Christians are expected to accept guilt for a fictional fruit being eaten 6000 years ago by a person you never met, and responsibility for the crucifixion of some guy by Romans 2000 years ago? Or is that totally different?

Likely similar to reports of lines breaking during a high g swoop load.

This is simply the giant lie being told by the right to justify their reluctance to acknowledge the facts of the past. NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE wants white people to feel ashamed of what their ancestors did. The rest of us just want the story told so that the roots of the present day problems are understood. If you or anyone else wants to feel shame let it be for the things that are happening today.

USPA conducts exhaustive analysis on each fatal incident that occurs in the U.S., and when it comes to canopy-related fatalities there is a well-documented pattern. There are three traits that are consistently connected to these incidents: 1. The skydiver is male 2. The skydiver has less than 1,000 jumps 3. The skydiver was downsizing rapidly. My recommendation for young jumpers - including you - is to forego the downsizing and spend your money on professional canopy coaching. When I say professional, I don't mean whoever is the best you have locally (unless they are truly qualified). I mean real-world canopy coaches - like the folks who run companies focusing on the discipline. These coaches are in the best position to assess your skills and offer sound advice.

I think he's being sarcastic, like the bumper sticker that says "my truck identifies as a Prius."

I've read through the PDF twice and unless I missed something why was Garmashov revoked in the first place? It was Pooley who forged Garmashov's name to the tandem certification. And unless Garmashov told Pooley to forge his name, I don't get it.

Not quite the right context, but "as God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly,"
