?? No. She's a SUPREME COURT JUSTICE. (In caps in case you missed it the first time.) She actually has the power to silence them. So to compare:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg being a racist trying to silence black athletes: "Black athletes have no right to protest, and as a Supreme Court Justice I will find that any attempt to exercise their First Amendment rights is unconstitutional."

Whatever misguided adolescent message the NFL is trying to promote, it is not working. All they are doing is fueling the fire and making more and more folks angry. Many of my friends are tuning out pro football. And now there is a move to boycott their sponsors. What does it all mean? SHTF is coming boys, get ready.

This is what it really comes down to, isn't it? Either way this goes there are people who would have bought tickets that won't now. And that's the bottom line for professional sports.

It actually started with Martin Luther King Jr taking a knee, unsurprisingly for the exact same reasons.

It's very disappointing to see people that think of themselves as "patriots" despise those that exercise their constitutional rights - in this current protest thing, it's clearly racism from those that oppose the protest.

Well, there's a poll out there showing that 84% of people support the player's right to protest.

Lower numbers agree with the actual method of protest, but it's still a minority that disapproves.

It would be the truth.

The walkout was premeditated. The VP went to the game specifically so that he could leave the game. This is true.

The military does not own the national flag or have any special rights to it. Even if you accept the concept that the players are disrespecting the flag by kneeling, it is entirely false to suggest that they are intending to disrespect the military as well. Soldiers have nothing to do with their cause, and Mike Pence knows this.

So when Mike Pence pretends that he is standing up for soldiers when he's actually just using them to pluck people's emotions and score cheap political points that is real disrespect.
