Dumpster 0 #26 June 11, 2002 I've jumped a 182, King Air and Twotter- Fave is the Otter- Quick to altitude and nice big door- I beleive that doing a hanging exit off a 182 should be a rite of passage-I also love jumping- My wife's bones!!!!! (She's not a skydiver!)Does that count?C-Ya----D

ECVZZ 0 #28 June 11, 2002 I've jumped a 182, 206, king air, caravan, and otter. My favorite is the otter, followed by the caravan, king air (brutal prop blast if it has the larger turbines), 206, and I really didn't like anything about the 182!G. PhreeZone 15 #29 June 11, 2002 I'm wondering about the DC4... where did you pick that one up at?If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will....
nacmacfeegle 0 #30 June 11, 2002 Anything that will take me up.It really is as simple as that.If its flying, I will jump it. Cessnas (any of the numbers), Islanders, Porters, single and twin Otters, turbine or piston, Let, G92, Cherry coffin, Beaver, Faves are herc, stretch herc, Casa, AN72 (coaler), G222, skyvans, skyliners, chinooks, big Russian copters. I got a thang for tailgates...I like novelties as well like the stears, and AN2 biplanes, basically if I rock up to a boogie, and there's a plane there that I haven't jumped, I'll do it just for the hell of it.Choppers are cool too, have also jumped jet rangers, and chinooksNever jumped a balloon and am hurtin' for one real bad.CyaDGR# 37Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream. My personal favorites........1.)Space Shuttle(Gets to high altitude fast with lots of jumpers)2.)Milenium Falcon (Chewbaca is the sickest freeflyer/swooper you ever met and he is on every load the Falcon flies)3.) howardwhite 5 #44 June 11, 2002 Well, not for every day, but one neat one was a Tiger Moth, a two-place taildragger biplane. At the top of a loop, standing up on the front seat and holding onto the top wing, popping out upside down like a champagne cork. This was in Lincolnshire, England, a buncho years ago.HW

hobbes4star 0 #47 June 12, 2002 i've got the super otters, king airs, bi-plane, sky-van, caravan, c-182, but the one that does it for me is the Porter. i love that plane."great achievement comes only at great risk" the dolly lama
wingnut 0 #48 June 12, 2002 lets's see now, i've jumped.....182 (normal and narrow)206 (turbine and piston, big cargo door and small one twords the front)portercaravanottercasaskyvanwestwind beech (phree's beech)bi-planei'd have to say the best would be the skyvan..bigger tailgate in my opinion than the casa.... but the porter was also a fun time....so hard to decide.........it only took a little pixie dust to change this mispelling
GroundZero 0 #49 June 13, 2002 The DC-3 is my "harley in the sky"......................................................Agreed, The plane I miss the most is the Twinbo.... 12 ear shattering minutes to 14,000'... 8-9 jumpers, all but one floating... Best music in flight... tie: Mr. D with the best selection and Jim Barron's Westwind with the best quality... killer subwoofers! Is the Blue-wind at Zenia or is that the Red-wind?Quicksilver-2... longest 25 minute climb to 1800'Jump-plane most conducive to sex in-flight: Cessna 182 with a polite pilot. Most memorable jump airplane flight: Exiting the 56TC Baron, hanging a legstrap on the door handle, fighting to get free for 30 minutes, then hearing each engine stop (fuel starvation) and clearing myself in about 10-12 seconds. Favorite jump plane: The one I'm in on the way to altitude.Chris
