ChileRelleno 0 #53 January 8, 2004 I would without a doubt go for the Pilot over the Triathalon. You really should explore the pros and cons and demo both of the canopies first. Amazon 7 #65 January 8, 2004 The night jump was really fun... I had not done one since like 1980... and Eloy has GOT to be one of the easist places to figure out where to land at night in the country.. no way you could mistake that nice big grassy field surrounded by light on one side.. a huge runway to the west a prison to the east... all well lit.. and surrounded by light colored desert.. even with the clouds and no moon it was realllly easy to figure out. Everyone was already 3 sheets to the wind by the time we all got down... I mean I was a good girl and had nothing to drink that night till I got back on Terra Firma. A couple hours of partying then home to the motel so I could get up for the balloon jump fist thing on New Years Day..... made for a VERYYYYY long day. Aviatrr 0 #71 January 8, 2004 Congrats! As others have said, look at other canopies besides the Triathlon as well. I've heard good things about the Pilot. I was going to demo an A-Max while I was at Eloy, but the weather didn't cooperate that day....so I can't say anything about any of the Aerodyne canopies other than what I've heard.
