Hugs from friends that I really love like family. Jacuzzi time. The anticipation of a nice beach vacation. Laying on said beach soaking in the warmth of the sun while it's 10 degrees back home. Kitty kisses. Unexpected emails/phone calls from people I miss. Smell of jump plane exhaust. Laughing with my friends in freefall. Landing in Jamaica and when the crew opens the cabin door, the warm air hits you in the face and blows your hair back. And you can smell the leaves burning. Mmmmm... Snuggling by the fireplace. Fitting into a pair of jeans that used to be too small. Sex with someone I really care about. Cuddling with friends on a ratty sofa in the hangar. Another jump in my logbook. The butterflies I get when I have a wicked crush. Sunday morning early Mass. Going through photo albums of when my brothers and I were kids. Sunsets that bring tears to your eyes they're so beautiful. Sunset jumps when there's some clouds because above the clouds, the way the sun hits them... makes me think this is what Heaven's gotta look like. Spa days for a facial and massage. Edited to add: First kisses, bouquets of pastel roses, unexpected financial windfalls, the Magic 8 Ball being correct, the first time I smell a fireplace on an early fall night, margaritas from Iron Moto, a dinner date at my favorite Italian restaurant with a nice bottle of red wine and fun conversation, the first time you realize you're in love with someone, taking a walk around my neighborhood after dark and seeing how pretty the houses are at night, the full harvest moon that's over the farmland in my backyard, my new D90, knowing I've just shot a really great picture, taking pictures of my friends, hot dudes in boardshorts, the flash of a chunky metal watch on a nice forearm, listening to Spanish and Italian singers and knowing my ass will be back in Puerto Rico in 121 days. Friends that make you feel alive, motivate, support you, and are honest with their emotions. They make you feel like you are walking on sunshine, when the world may be falling apart. They have a passion and zest for life that is so magnetic, you become almost drunk on it. Friendship that is so deep, words cannot justify what it feels like, where you don't have to explain yourself, you can be having dinner and enjoy the silence. flygirl1 0 #45 October 8, 2009 My family, my fiancée, my friends, my pets, blue sky's, powder days, good food, flying, scuba diving, skydiving, eating that last cookie at midnight just because, flying in the wind tunnel, driving my convertible down the 17, volunteering at the humane society, fall colors, heavy snow storms and getting snowed in at the mountain, warm summer nights, that favorite pair of faded old sweat pants and fuzzy slippers, sunsets from altitude, watching a movie on the couch cuddled up to my fiancée and the furry children, trail rides on my horse. long hot bubble baths, traveling, long hikes with my dogs, cookies and cream ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, spending the day with my parents, eating good Mexican and Indian food........
