Thanks for the imput ! So I take it as if no one has nothing negative to say about the G4 ?? Some people at our club said they prefer G3, but im on doubt about their motive to say that.. They even hadent seen the rig, but they already had a strong opinion...

Is the "elastic lumbar support" easily removable ? If I would decide not to have it on my rig, can I easily take it off ?

Another question : Im thinking of buying a pretty black canopy.. Is there any reason why I shouldnt buy a black one ? Does UV-light make the color fade quickly or something else ?

I also have gone through the s/l training. Of course im not an expert but it really helped me to arch, when i blew all the air out of my lungs just before exit. That way you get much better arch.

Anyone know any good smaller manufators ? Im looking for pretty simple and good quality pants. If someone knows some web-adresses of manufactors, wich are not so common, please let me know. Thanks Ville

All the limits in Finland are going to be +1m/s next year. So: Students 8m/s Licence , less than 100 jumps 9m/s Licence more than 100 jumps 11m/s But i guess you , Erno , allready knew that ...

Well if I would have known better I offcource would have never told anyone I did it. Hehe.. In Finland you need 250 jumps to jump elliptical. (we can jump Spectres and Sabre 2´s ... ofcourse) Yeah. well anyways I love most of the people at our DZ a lot. Over all im enjoying my self there so thats no problem. And as I said , I understand that the safety manager is just doing her job so I have nothing against her. It just came to me as a shock that this thing was such a big deal so I wanted to share it and ask some opinions.

As far as i know of yes. There should be no more to the story. This i did not quite understand. At least i think i know how it works, if thats what you really ment. This is a question to my self as well. My landings have been good and I have had no problems with the canopy i was banned for jumping. (sabre). I guess it is to make the penality more of a penality for me. (jumping a bigger canopy) I simply wanted to try how it effects the canopy if the risers are separated a few inces more. Just loosing it for a few inches no more. I never thought it would be so bad behaiviour.

THat was my Question too. Never heard of JAD but the profile says he's from finland...so I have no idea! Sorry... In Finland we train students by either AFF or JAD(Jump-master Assisted Deployment). JAD is a program where you have to do 38 jumpmaster-approved jumps. At the first 6 jumps the Jumpmaster holds the PC in hes Hand and throws it immediedly after the student. Later on the student will self deploy. Then they are thaught to track , to sit , so RW etc. After all they get C- licence. and they are independent jumpers.

Just curious. How usual is it when someone gets banned from jumping in certain DZ in U.S ? ? What do you have to do to get banned ? How about students ? What do they have to do to get banned ? Ok. Im a B-licence student I have 49 jumps (JAD-system). I just got banned for loosening my chest strap. (I ofcource loosened it just a few inches). I was asking one of the jump-masters how to loosen the chest strap ´cause its pretty difficult. He got pretty angry and told me its not allowed for the students. Later on the Safety manager of our club cept me a speach and told me im banned for jumping for a while. And also I cannot jump Sabre for the rest if my sutdent-time. Instead i have to jump PD-Navigator 200. ' I my self felt it was a pretty hard penalty. I dont blame the club crew for anything. I understand that the law here is pretty strict and they have to act according to it. Im just curious what do you people think ? Could this happen is U.S ?

No jumping out of planes or other aircrafts ? No smell of jet fuel in the morning ? Just change the Golf playing scene to some proper skydiving activity and were pretty much there m8 !
