  1. That's a cost. You may not think it is much of a cost but it is a real cost. A cost to solve a problem that has no evidence that it is a problem. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  2. It's disgusting to use this sort of poetic imagery when talking about an incident which sent a person to the hospital and put her blood on the ground. Let's not lose sight of who the victim was here. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  3. I don't think so either. It is hard to justify a process (which is going to have some cost associated with it, all processes do) to fix a problem when you can't define the size of the problem. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  4. How many on the list are TI's period? The entire thread has been pretty absent on any facts. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  5. Truth cuts through all levels of consciousness and languages. On 16 Mar 81 when I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life and take control the only Scripture I was familiar with was Psalm 23, The Lord's Prayer and John 3:16. When I asked for and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit I was seeking on the basis of Luke 11: 9-13. When I was delivered from the desire for mood altering substances there was no Scripture involved at all. I was only in prayerful meditation with God. The reality is based on faith in Christ, surrender of self and experience. Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. What else do you need to know? I don't need to know anything. I already know how to read in the original languages. I've seen you quote some pretty inaccurate stuff from time to time, some of which I've responded to, some not. 6. Is that interpretation in the scrolls or in Cousin James version. I always tend in question if those damn interpreters that get hired are really getting it right when ever I travel. You pay lots of money.. who is to say they are smart enough to actually get the translations right. Ron doesn't know anything about the original languages. What do I need to know? How to read and translate them so you know what it actually says. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

  8. Just so other newbies or somebody else doing a search knows--by the time an F-111 canopy is ready for a new lineset it is probably ready to be a car cover--not absolutely but F111 does not hold up for 2000 jumps or so like ZP generally does. by 500 jumps it has lost a lot of its flare power. 9. Not enough business in this town for one lawyer but plenty for two "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  10. Best I can tell it is not really a court of law. More like an internal review procedure. Although they do call them judges. The trademark was cancelled in 1999 and was overturned on appeal in 2003. And now, the process starts all over. Yup, I presume the record is more robust this time but I don't know. 11. Nobody said it doesn't happen in the NFL, it's just that in soccer it happens a LOT more frequently. I don't see anything that convinces me that isn't true. People who don't like soccer just use that as a cudgel to bash the game with, while ignoring so much similar behavior in football and (especially) basketball. It is true that different cultures have different feelings about this sort of "gamesmanship" "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

  13. So, file a complaint against that one. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  14. I don't think anybody has said that. Independent Contractor status. Not a sore issue, just part of the business. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  15. Well, I'm not singling out anything. Somebody filed. If you have standing and want to file against the other offensive trademarks you should do so. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  16. Look a rhetorical tautology!! "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  17. if so, that's absolutely inappropriate as a governmental function. we don't need Big Brother making PC, or religious, or moral decisions for private company decisions and branding but nowadays I wouldn't be surprised - it falls over the line into theocracy type behavior and it seems some pigs would LOVE that I don't know what you mean by "these days" but the Lanham Act (under which these sorts of decisions are permitted) was passed in 1946. 18. Somebody filed. Somebody can file against those other names if they want. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  19. I don't buy it for a second...Considering that Peter (who they call the first" pope") had a mother-in-law, it's a wonder why they ever instituted the "law" in the first place... It's a really long and complicated history. And not a complete ban. Priesta who convert from episcopalian or are in eastern rite catholic churches can be married. The rule mainly came about to prevent priests from giving church property to heirs "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  20. "Key" word here is US Officer. I don't care who you are, or what you do, you cannot, and will not change their culture, end deal. ***I'm not sure it's all that different from SOME Catholic leaders for that matter. That's not cultural, even for the Catholics. That's b/c they refuse to let the priest marry. The new pope is trying to fix that to where they'll relax their rules to allow their priests to marry and have families. This is just one of the 92 points in Martin Luther's Manifesto that he nailed to the Vatican door to the sanctuary b/f he was exiled and lived the duration of his life under threat. I'm Lutheran, which is a spin-off of the Catholic faith, thus the "Lutheran" faith. And we're split into 2 different factions, which I don't care for, how ever: "It is what it is" 95 theses. Not nailed to the vatican but posted on the church door in Wittenburg "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  21. When the Native American braves went on the warpath to kick-ass and take names, they changed out their multicolor ceremonial paint for the red 'war paint.' Therefore the European colonists referred to the NA's (particularly the braves) as REDSKINS! It had nothing to do with their natural skin color as the Native Americans are Caucasian. Uh that might be what you think at all the east coast pow wows.. but genetically Native Americans... as every geneticist on the planet will tell you are east Asian. https://www.23andme.com/ancestry/ Well, OK. They probably had some Asian mixed in there when they came across the land bridge. Along with some slovak, some russian, whatever. My point is they were not 'red skinned.' It was a decorum/decorative practice that got them nicknamed 'redskins.; Can I make up my own facts too? "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  22. You would think that right. Well in other news the batteries in it are only 5 weeks old . It has also dumped my jumps and in the last 5 days logged 240+ jumps from 3500 with a opening altitude of 600 feet. Something isn't right. Guess I'll be calling L&B. uess anyone has seen this becore Are you sure you have the right batteries in it? Other sizes will fit well enough to turn on but create all sorts of weird errors. How is that possible ? Batteries power up circuits. all majorly available (CRxxxx nomenclature) Lithium button batteries are 3V DC, with the only difference being the Amperage (capacity) and obviously the size. I would make a well-educated guess that putting in a lower capacity battery will just cause the unit to act normally, but won't last as long as the recommended CR2330 size. My best guess to OP's problem is circuitry problem, most likely either in the part the reads the barometric pressure or in the pressure sensor itself. I would recommend contacting L&B, and very much doubt that there's a McGuyver solution to this. I've used 'wrong'(lesser capacity/thinner size) kind of batteries and the only difference was that they lasted a shorter amount of jumps then the recommended batteries. Also I had to add filling in between the batteries to bridge the 1 mm cap to create a connection (I used CR-2325's which are 0.5 mm thinner then cr-2330). Yes, this is consistent w/ what I have seen. Batteries which are just a very slightly different size and then making an incomplete connection can cause the alarms to go on-off at odd times. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
