1) NEVER jump up 2) If the plane is climbing, just roll out.

Line twists happen, since you are skittish about H&Ps my guess would be bad body position at/after pull. Either jump or not, as you feel.

I think a way to encourage new younger jumpers is to brng back SL/IAD. An SL/IAD course is considerably lower cost than AFF.

They sure can when they tow for a while then clear! Then it wouldn't be a bag lock anymore though would it? Correct, however a baglock that clears is still a baglock, likewise a lineover that clears is still a lineover. Some malfunctions may be fixed providing sufficient altitude and time and some may clear on their own.

Want to buy a Fullface Helmet, what is a good one?
jsaxton replied to Solan's topic in Gear and Rigging
I like the Z1, the faceshield locking mechanism on the Oxy is funky and the shields are hard to replace. -
I'm still trying to figure out why this is in the Incidents forum? I had a off heading opening on my wingsuit last yesterday, maybe I'll post something about it........ And i had a lineover that cleared when i released the brakes, WOW!

Perceived Risk with Freefall vs. Canopy Flight
jsaxton replied to Gato's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Obvious troll Sorry, my bad; wasn't trolling just stating an outdated opinion. Basically you can goof up in freefall and go unnoticed, but under canopy the mistakes become incidents... Understood , although I've seen up close some things in freefall that could have resulted in an incident. -
All I know is I'm docking on you Friday And I'll pack where I can!

Don't quit skydiving, just make roadtrips to Lodi! Do the math, at $15/jump how many jumps do you have to do in a weekend to pay for the trip?
-
That exit was doomed either way
-
The easiest way to dry a main canopy is to "air dry" it by jumping it. I would not recommend jumping a wet reserve.
-
One word , "LODI".
-
Perris and Eloy for sure
-
It's a tandem factory, fun jumpers get on a load when they can.

go buy a $10 multimeter at radioshack.

You won't get much skydiving in Hawaii

Why did the X games drop skysurfing?
jsaxton replied to morris's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
The same reason that they dropped barefoot water ski jumping. Most people will never be able to do it in their lifetime. -
