Hypothetical Question regarding exit order
jsaxton replied to jsaxton's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
[quot]In other words, I agree with you that if the wind never changed none of this would matter. That is why I had the wind change fairly high to a very different velocity. What am I not understanding?[quot] The fact that the winds change the same for all groups. All groups are affected equally. -
It's still a sucky plane for RW. Give ma an otter any day.

Give it a try! And be sure to "let me know how that works out for you "

If a plane is flying into the wind, and the uppers are greater than the jump run speed, should freeflyers exit first? -

jsaxton replied to GLIDEANGLE's topic in General Skydiving Discussions

only one injury (landing injury on jump 1), knee injury (soft tissue).

Not necessarily safer, but doing BigWays as definatly taught me what people are looking for in an "A" list player and this has improved my performance at work (consistent performance, good attitude, punctuality, ...) which is related to safety (protecting my income).

It's basically the same formation we completed last year. This is also the formation that P3 has been doing sucessfully at the 100way camps. http://www.freak-brother.com/POPSRECORD/formations.html Personally I think the reason we didn't complete is that we only got one jump on Saturday, that put us behind the curve.
-
nope, not this year, we lost a day to weather and ran out of time.

LJ almost took my leg off on exit. The entire back of my leg turned black. Between that and getting kicked in the nuts on exit I paid my dues on that series :-Z

Best way to improve canopy skills?
jsaxton replied to Deisel's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
add 1000 jumps -
I got mint through work (MetLife) it has no restrictions for skydiving, free climbing or any other "extreme" sports. The best thing to do is to purchase through a group plan.
-
Ed, You gotta start buying blocks so your price is only $13
