Hey everyone. Me and Wifey will be in the US in October for 5-6 weeks. Plan is to steal a vehicle from my parents in Canada and drive from Ontario to ???? Ive never been to the eastern states so I need recommendations on where to go, what to do, where to jump, looking for friends to catch up with and play tour guide, let me drink all your beer and sleep on your floor :) Rough plan is to travel south from Detroit to florida chasing the warm weather. Ive got a lot of tattoos, some of the are awesome, some of them are pretty crappy, bad quality. I love them all. The ones that arent that great i got while travelling and they all tell a story. Ive always been very concious of where on my body i get tattoed. If im wearing a t shirt and pants you would never know im covered in tattoos. I wish more people would put some thought into where they choose to place their art. I hate hand and neck tattoos but each to thier own i guess. I know some people hire caravans for the boogie. I think there is even a company that will deliver and set it up at the dz for you. Last time i was there i flew in as well i just asked some friends who were driving to bring some extra camping gear for me Might have better luck asking on the lp facebook event page. I live in SoCal. I have an Aussie welder that came here to work in my local union. I refuse to work w/ him because he's such a fuckin asshole. He went to Cajun country a couple mths ago. to work. I do a bac breath test every day at work and must blow zeros. Having a good meal makes a huge difference in your bac the next morning. On that note I've seen some guys blow some pretty big numbers in the morning after a Night of drinking and a reasonable amount of sleep. I've pretty much travelled the world while crashing with other skydivers that I've met along my travels. When I was driving around australia I would just show up at a dz get to know people and ask if anyone had a place for me to sleep. I've spent all day trying to climb a couple meters. Id use a portakedge in ton sai a few meters up the wall on the beach. Think it'd be a good spot for a beer break. The climb, as squeak is more a via farrata toe climb. If you can climb a ladder you can get there. It almost looks as tho you could just do a base jump from the place to get down :) Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
