  5. not that beach jumps are really dangerous, its more that many dzs that offer beach landings tend to have dramas with the council or neihbours who own beach front property and dont like aircraft noise, so having someone land off in a built up area or requiring rescue from the ocean gives them ammunition in their argument against dzs having access t landing areas on the beaches. Basically its a fragile agreement and unless you can demonstrate the skills and experience required to be approved and complete these jumps without incident dont get upset when we set the bar rather high. 7. If the jump numbers on your profile are correct you will not be able to land on the beaches here. Minimum for most locations is 200 jumps, many more require min 500, and a lot kid them are staff sand tandem only. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  15. Just to clarify this is a skydiving and camping trip so were mostly looking to camp at DZs or national/state parks and stay with a few friends along the way. I grew up in the Niagra region so we've done most of that area. looking at starting off in middletown ohio at start skydive for a few days as its a reasonable drive to get there. Memphis is on the list because ya we plan on going to the hallowed boogie at Mullins dz. Alt and Sebastion on are on the list as friends have offered us a place to crash for a couple days. We may skip florida all together depending on time as were pretty keen to check out New Orleans. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

Suggestions of what to see and do along the way, cool places to go camping, DZs and events in the areas. As always our plans are highly flexible depending on whats happening where. 20. No more skyvan or otter anywhere in australia. picton can be a very busy dropzone, running either a caravan, pac xl or beaver. They host some really good events there, but the drop zone pretty much completely shuts down at night leaving you sitting there in the dark with nithing but the local huntsman spiders to keep you company. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  21. And theyre running a caravan most weekends now :) Worth contacting the dz before heading out as they are required to be closed for 1 weekend per month and the date can change due to weather. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  22. Innisfail is an hour from cairns and allows fun jumpers. Awesome dz with a super caravan Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  23. Ramblers at brisband from sydney you have a few options. Picton operates most days of the week. Moruya is nice but a bit of a drive. Elderslie, the newcastle sports parachute club is an awesome place as well. All should have rental gear of some description available. You will require a membership in the australian parachute federation. Overseas visitors can purchase a one month temporary membership. more info cab be found at apf.asn.au they will have a dz listing and event calendar there as well.
