  1. So what kind of new and exciting sports have been created while the beer light is on? What kind of foolishness have you gotten yourself into while being rained out? At what point did you realize it would probobly be a good idea to wear a helmet? Some of my fav's creeper bowling beer bunjee off road body surfing! Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  2. +1 Helmets have definatly helped decrease the amount of brain damage i have given myself over the years. If I have a cheaper helmet I'm more likely to use it on other occasions where i wouldn't want to mess up a $300 skydiving helmet. I think everyone knows I have more use for a helmet after the beer light comes on!!! Just wish i had a fullface mountain bike helmet on at PST this summer. maybe I wouldn't have wrecked my face while playing beer bunjee Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  3. Hey all So I am starting to gear up and one of the things I am having the most diffuculty with is find a helmet. I went to a local bike shop today to check out helmets and all of the ones i looked at were the kind that do not have a hard ear flap. Therefor they have no place to install a ditter. Can anyone recommend a helmet that actually offer some kind of impact protection (unlike most skydiving helmets) that would offer decent protection from impact as well as be able to support the installation of an audible alti? 4. Check out parachute school of toronto. I had a blast there this summer! Sure you could find someone to catch a ride with if you give em a call. 1-800-361-5867 www.parachuteschool.com Parachute School of Toronto Limited 5714 Smith Blvd. Baldwin (Georgina), Ontario Canada Cheers Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  5. I'd definatly have to agree with you there. Also thier all alcoholics! My favorite part of skydiving is definatly the climbout. The anticipation in those few seconds and whats to follow. what keeps bringing me back to the dropzone is the community. Like an extended family with memeber all over the world. Who will always welcome you into thier home. (as long as you bring beer) Cheers Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  7. Haha I've seen scar's that were created in the Z-hills firepit! Is that where the canadian invasion boogie is over christmas? Many canadian coaches there that can assist me in my progression towards CSPA Cop's? Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  8. Hello All! I plan on heading south to avoid freezing my ass off in another canadian winter. Hopefully live the dream of being a skybum. I plan on headin south in november and staying until christmas. Then I'm off to australia for a year. I have a few qeustions that will hopefully make planning this trip a little easier. First off, Where should I go? Why should I come live in a tent at your DZ? Who has the best bonfire's, The hottest women and way more fun than anyone else? Second, I may or may not have my "A" license by the end of the season here. I still need to do my coach jumps and may ony have one or two weekends to get them done. So how dose that work if I want to continue working towards my Cop-A and Cop-B while jumpin in the U.S. Third, I would like to learn alot more about packing and rigging. I don't usually do more than one or two jumps a day and need something to fill my time. So why not pack and help pay for some jumps. Are there many DZ's that would be wlling to better train me and allow me to pack to make some cash? Finally, I might as well shoot for the moon here. Are there any extremly wealthy, beautiful skychicks, 18-25 who want to adopt me. Give me a warm place to sleep and a cold place to keep my beer. Seriously tho, Any advice you could give me on making this trip the best it could be would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  10. I have "Livin' The Dream" Tattoed on my collar bones, and "The firm resolve of a determined soul" across my chest" Meaning I resolve to live the dream, or I am living my dream. Well while recovering from a particularly intense adventure of livin some dreams I was being a bag of shit, hungover and hurtin like hell. laying around the house without a shirt on. My roomate comes out and starts laughin at me and says "livin the dream eh rob? Looks like it might kill you" To which I reply "yeah man, It's a rough life livin the dream" The look on my face may ask why do i do these things to myself, but the spark in my eye tells why! 12. Yeah no doubt eh. Im pretty sure im much more likely to end up in the hospital on a monday night after drinkin a few to many jagers and then tryin to put one foot in front of the other. Gotta make sure Im covered for everything! Im going to call it my "stupid" insurance policy! Haha i can just see the conversation now..."I dont need a helmet to try this, I've got Stupid insurance! 13. Im looking for ongoing insurance. Something that will cover my australia trip and maybe a few trip to the states in the fall. Haven't really made all my travel plans yet. I'm pretty much lookin for an isurance plan that will cover me anywhere worlwide for an unspecified amount of time. I'll call AMA/CAA this week and see what they have to say. Shoud I be upfront about needing insurance specifically for skydiving? or should i just find a policy that covers skydiving. What are insurance companys attitude towards people looking for insurance in case of skydiving related incidents while travelling? Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  16. Yeah he definatly is. But these kinds of things are so rare. You cannot go through life in fear of all the "what ifs" and then when something dose happen you can't gt hung up on the "if only i had" She isn't going to let this bring her down. She refuses to live in fear. She has taken this route home thousands of times and has never had a problem. This was just one of those things. She said it herself. Shit happens, shits always going to happen, just gotta try ot to step in it, This girls attitude is strong as hell. Haha a freind asked her if she was going to be taking the bus from now on and she replied "No way! I don't want to end up getting greyhounded" lol Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  18. A friend of mine was randomly attacked last weekend while walking home late at night. She faught back hard and damn near gouged this guys eyes out. She didnt give up even tho she was nearly beaten unconcious. This guy had recently gotten out of jail for rape. As he was attacking her he was trying to drag her into the bushes along the side of the road. She never stop fighting and got away! here is her story. edited to remove identies of those involved. Last night after sayin good bye to my brother and his friends i started to walk home. i was walking past the wick. a guy ( and i use this term loosely) started to follow me i kepted going from one of york to the other to get away from him....he walked past me so i thought i was safe. but then he stop n when i got close he got infront of me and Grabbed me took me to the ground n started feeding shots left right n center. after about 2 mins more like a life time to me. he got up n ran becoz i was fighting so hard to get him off me. after he ran off i ran as fast as i could in Heels no less! to [friend] house where i banged on the door as hard as i could when i got there i was all bloody and sore. they called the cops and they all came right away. i gave them what he looked like n they found him n he is in jail now. my left side of my face is swollen and bruised aswell..... so i just want to thank [friend] and [friend] for being there and opening there door. i llove u both. so that is why i need bear mace the story will be in the new paper tomorrow. 19. I had the same problem with practise pulls. Either the paper falling out as I was climbing or being unable to find it due to the container being open. My favourite fail tho was after missing the paper 2 time times in one day I went up for another jump and got the paper no problem and i was so pumped I held on to the paper i held it up and waved it at my instructor so he could see that i got it.... then i got failed for holding onto the paper. Everyone at the DZ was ridin me pretty hard for that one. So i went up for a my 4th practise pull of the day. As I was getting geared up the DZO came up and took my paper and wrote "GAY PORN" on it and stuffed it into the BOC and told me make sure i throw it away!!! Your not allowed to bring gay porn back to the DZ!!! So I went and did my jump and nailed it!! Threw away the gay porn! Got on the next load and did my first 3 second delay! Then went a bought beer! In all I did 7 practise pulls. Don't dwell on it, you'll get it soon enough. If your really that anxious to buy beer for first freefall im sure everyone at the DZ will accept it in advance. Just keep gettin in the plane and keep on havin fun! Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  21. LMFAO "Any hole is a goal!" Fucking brilliant! Reminds me of the logic used when tryin to knock down a girl with a boyfriend. "Just because there is a goalie in net dosen't mean I can't score!" Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  22. Lets share those marvelous quotes that always come after a few too many beers. Dont want to hear your motivational feel-good bullshit quotes. Let's hear those one liner's that keep you lauhing out loud to yourself for the next week everytime you think about them. I was out at bar this weekend with group of 6 buddies. It was after last call and we had all failed miserably at picking up any talent, or anything that could pass as talent. SO we're all hanging out at a table. One of my buddies flags over an obviously drunk girl and begins chatting her up. Somehow the conversation leads to her pointing to everyone of us and saying "you're cute, you're cute, you're cute, you're cute and you're cute." To which my friends very loudly replies "SO HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT A GANG-BANG!" I have never seen a table of guys scatter so fast in my life only to make it 10ft before collapsing on the ground laughing. Leaving this poor girl sitting at the table alone looking absolutly horrified. Needless to say we all went home alone and now everytime a cute woman passes by someone has to ask " I wonder how she feels about a gang-bang" and we all wonder why we're still single.
