  1. Only from my cold, dead.....You know the rest. Government does not have the right to take guns away from responsible citizens.
  2. "I arrived in America's airport with clothings, US dollars, and a jar of gypsy tears to protect me from AIDS."
  3. Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield
  4. From Carlsbad Skydive San Diego would be your best bet. I used to live in Oceanside and did AFF at SDSD. Its a great DZ with great staff and people to chill with. Last time I was there they had two Otters...
  5. From Fandango, not sure if this is exact, but its close enough... "If you're into playin' it close man that's cool, but we're talking mega malfunction here"
  6. An AFFI said... ..."if you see me pull you do the same"
  7. Ummm...Well! Dude, WTF man!?!? I expected the "I have your protien shake" comment, but this.....
  8. If I had a Red Bull budget I could do that too.
  9. Tell your buddies to punch in your face every time they see you dip. That usually works. Seriously though, I found that quitting cold turkey is the best, just quit. Buy lots of gum, let everyone know your intentions and hit the gym alot.
  10. "The Embarrassment - Gay Slur." "Cleavge pics" Who dies that?
  11. When DHS was formed the Immigration and Naturalization Service was split in to three seperate agencies. Now we have the Border Patrol, USCIS (Citizenship and Immigration Services) and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Three completely different agencies with different missions that are all part of "Homeland Security".
  12. I was carrying to Sig229 (HS edition, rail flush w/ muzzle) which worked great with winter clothing. Now that summer is coming up I bought a Colt Defender and love it! It is also my first 1911. It is by far the best concealed weapon I have ever carried. It is much slimmer than a Glock, HK, S&W, etc.. and is also much lighter than the other 1911 style compacts by Kimber and Springfield. I changed out the stock grips for slim grips. I'm also bias towards .45/40 now that I've been reading alot on the 45 vs 9mm debate and conducted a few of my own backyard field tests . My only complaint is not with the gun itself but with the Galco holster I got for it. The center of gravity is a bit high on the holster so my belt has to be unusually tight (even for carrying) to stop the gun from flopping (not flopping out, just out a bit from my body). Anyways, yeah, 1911 compacts are great for CCW.
  13. I think in war it's purpose is not exactly less-than-lethal, atleast that's not the intention. It would be used to cause havoc, slow down, etc... all with the end result and intention of killing whoever it would be used on.
  14. You left out a few definitions.... 15. I don't think anyone will argue that. That sounds more reasonable than your earlier post: Just like skydiving, it is ok to drink on a hunting trip/DZ. Just keep the hunting/skydiving seperated from the booz. Sounds like you need to choose your friends better, or groups you hunt with.
  16. Ahh, Ok....I see where you're from. It makes sense now. I've been to Germany and had a blast. Had some of the best beer ever made, Paulaner is great! I also noticed a lot of Germans like to drink. Should they be allowed to own guns? Guns in general....shotguns included.
  17. I've been OC sprayed with the good shit, not that weak ass pepper spary. It sucks. Here's what it feels like... 4 cups motor oil 2 cups cooking oil 3 cups of the hottest pepper juice you can find 6 crushed light bulbs 1 cup of sand 1/2 cup of gun powder 1 tube of icy-hot muscle rub 1/3 cup of Gold Bond medicated foot powder 1 bottle of Listerine 2 boxes of minature staples 3 bottles of Texas Pete -Mix all together, heat to a rolling boil in a pot large enough for your head. -Stir -Insert head (eyes open) for 10 seconds.
  18. You have a better chance of winning if you switch. Check out the illustration about a quarter of the way down. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monty_Hall_problem
  19. I agree, as tasteless as they are, the Phelps have the right to protest. But to what extent? To sum it up, the judge favored Phelps because he did not see their actions as intentionally causing emotional stress on the father. How could that not cause emotional stress on the father? How could anyone planning on doing this at a funeral not see that thier actions would cause this sort of reaction (the intentional part). Is what makes me even more angry is that if this were the funeral of a politician or the judge's children their would probably be some sort a police baracade to stop the Phelps family from protesting. There is no way this would happen if it were anyone of any "importance", a judge's kid, senator's son, a former president. There is no way the protest would be allowed to happen.
  20. From CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/03/30/westboro.baptist.snyder/index.html?hpt=T2 Well, what can I say? That's Maryland for you How can a judge NOT favor the father with his claims of emotional distress, enticing violence, etc... I mean, if I were to protest your child's funeral saying that they died because god hates gays that would be pretty messed up and probably cause you to get emotional. There are some on here who will side with the church's legal right to free speech under the 1st Amendment, which I am all for, but this is not about their rights. The questions is wether or not Phelps and his crew caused intentional infliction of emotional distress, etc.. Here's what Phelp's cuntrag daughter/lawyer has to say: This would be the same as me going to a meet-up of parents who have retarded kids and saying that it's their fault their kids are born that way because god hates gays (bull horns, signs and all). And just to make it legal I'll stand on public property. How can that not cause emotional distress? If this were any other state it would have had a more favorable outcome. Thoughts?
  21. Good points, overall diving is more dangerous than skydiving, but skydiving is more inherently dangerous than SCUBA. Similar to skydiving, most SCUBA deaths are caused by human error. When something goes wrong you often have a buddy that can save you, unlike skydiving. If divers would take safety as serious as most skydivers do, then diving would be the less dangerous activity and have far fewer fatalities in comparison to skydiving.
  22. I understand what you're saying. I'm not putting this website with the same category as SlyRide. Just pointing out a few things that, in my opinion, will do more harm than good. Especially since the links are not obvious and, as you stated, maybe changing the wording to "non-ProSD.com network dropzones", etc... would be a better approach. But that's still a low blow from the website owners. Edit: The post above this one is a good example of how whuffos see it.
  23. No, they will see that all these DZ's at the bottom are non-ProSD DZs. Again, it is what that is implied that counts, not the intent, or the literal wording.....only what is implied, knowingly or not. Think of it as if you are a whuffo.
  24. Either way, name change or not, listing all DZs who are not in business with ProSD is not good for the sport and is against what he has said; the whole for the good fo the sport routine. Promoting DZs is one thing, but actively listing DZs who are not in business with you is another.
