Approx. Amount Spent in Sport Divided By Your Jumps = ???
Sletzer replied to Mazz's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I agree. The last thing I want to do is add that up. My girlfriend will kill me! "I'm still saving for a ring, honest" I guess going to boogies and doing balloon jumps isn't the best way to save. Ahhhh, F*ck it! It's been worth every minute and every penny. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251 -

That's what happened to me. Went to bed early Friday to make Saturday balloon jumps, then passed out really early Saturday because I was exhausted. I guess I'm an old fart at 27 . I'm going to increase my tolerance for late nights and heavy drinking before the next boogie. [Beer] I suppose this post has nothing to do with lost and found....... I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251

It was good to meet everyone. Great boogie. Great dives. I never expected to balloon jump into another county- that was an experience! Psycho Bob, I'm glad you made it to the young pines instead of the swamp. Tanya, what a cool way to become recurrent! I still can't believe we pulled off a 9 way magic carpet ride out of an otter... and it held together, inverted! There was a ton of "bigway" action with groups from 8-12 going on almost every load. That was neat to see and a real skill builder. Next time we'll have to pull the two groups together for some actual bigways

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Reply To -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well that too, but it wasn't very note worthy in light of my test result. You can borrow it if you want, it would probably look good on the mantel, next to your 2008 Landing Pattern award. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ow.... -------------------------------------------- But oh-so-true! What about an option for: I have health insurance, I skydive, but I have no idea if my policy covers skydive related injuries? I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251

Medical Insurance and Jumping
Sletzer replied to pilotsR4pimps's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
My BC/BS policy doesn't specifically exclude skydiving either. Are you implying that if it isn't specifically excluded, it's (technically) covered? If so, that would be great. I'm a little warry calling the insurance Co. to ask them if it's covered. They might make a note of it after they say no. Great discussion BTW, I've been interested in this for some time. Here's a good site that lists daily drink specials in Atlanta, up to a week in advance. Might come in handy if you guys group up again. Or if you just want to get cheaper drinks sometime http://www.sneakysunday.com/atlanta/drink-specials/ I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. I agree. Try yawning or rotating your jaw on ascent, but not popping your ears. I've heard several people mention non-drowsy sudafed. Calritin D might also work. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251

Hans, thanks for the great day of jumping. You make me feel welcome even when I do things to annoy you. The facilities, aircraft, and all the people there continue to impress me. What a great group of people! Eric and Melissa, thank you for spotting me up in the woods and making sure I was okay. Blaine, thanks for organizing the night jumps (it wasn't a bad spot, just my ill-advised pattern). Jack, thanks for the speedy canopy inspection. Andy, thanks for letting me know I'm not the only person who's ever landed off in a night jump. It was a crazy, but great day of jumping! How else could you have this much fun with your clothes on? Definitely the best DZ ever
