I followed that link to a video with a guy base jumping a wingsuit off a cliff in Norway. He has a malfunction, smacks the cliff face a few times, bounces off, strugles to fix the canopy, then eats the ground. Very few people on the East Coast have heard of, less seen an SCR ceremony before. I, for one, will be please to be on the other side of the can this year. It'll be cool to see it the Old School way. Good ideas

Skyfest pumped out quite a few SCR & SCS last year. That's the only place on the east coast I've heard of with any serious effort to accomplish these things. It probably wouldn't be a terrible idea to push for the more challenging ones at that boogie again this year. I think with a good organizer there can be quite of bit of interest generated. If I didn't have to travel to Texas to see some attemps I'd be all 'bout it. I'll mentione this around and see if we can up the ante' this year. I heard they have an awsome "glacier jump" that they'll dump you off over a galcier and you land kinda near it. But like you said, it aaaaaaaall depends on the weather.... and having enough people to jump. I was up there last summer and the weather didn't cooperate . Hope you guys have fun!
