  1. Pfft....Inch as good as a mile...
  2. When I started jumping I had a sport truck that was on the way to being a very nice daily driver, show worthy ride. About 100 jumps later, I sold the truck, was driving a fuel efficient Honda Civic, and jumping much more. Thats being said, I've since sold the Civic, have another daily driver cruiser on the go, and still jump lots. My answer... drink more beer. Its the cause and solution to all of humanities troubles... J
  3. I heard you bought that one... welcome to the flock I'll be back from Arizona March 1, will arrange to get that Classic back around then. To justify this response in thread... 174FPS flies up in Edmonton regularly. I know there are a fews guys up there that fly less frequently too. Jay
  4. 2 twister shooters, 3 beer, then a rum and coke, heavy on the rum, a smirnoff twist... if nothing else I'm not biased Now to find the next drink...
  5. Way to represent brother... but we can't forget the 3 BM-I's at Skydive Kamloops. They have a Classic Demo fleet too and a Bird that flies camera. There will be at least two flockers regularly at Alberta Skydivers next season flying the Classic, Phi, and V1. Maybe even a Crossbow. Canadian Goosemen, eh? Jay
  6. Was reading the PF-I agreement requirments. I understand the basic freefall requirements, but noticed in the fine print that it says PF-Is are required to buy two suits as demos, in different sizes. Can anyone clarify if this if if one plans to buy a demo fleet, they must buy two in different sizes, or if they plan to be a PF-I, they MUST buy two suits as a demo fleet? Just curious... Jay
  7. Oh come on....Captain Canuck all the way!!!
  8. I saw my funeral that day I know who didn’t show to mourn, my judgement was life in hell. Pillars of pain and thorns my only friend’s the goat with 666 between his horns. Go to hell!!! Thanks, got it now
  9. Still nothin... title? Need to DL it now or will have no peace
  10. Can't think of it, keep getting High Speed Dirt in my brain instead.
  11. Is that a call for black humour brother?
  12. Just jumping. Maybe some partying.
  13. Who's gonna be there? Going for the month.
  14. While I know this isn't recomended, and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone, I have put a few classic 1 jumps on with a Stiletto 150, loaded around 1.5/1 Most of the time it opened ok, but every once and a while I couldn't stop looking at my feet. I now jump a Sabre 150, an old one. Opens beautifully, consistently on heading too. Both with my Classic and my Phi edit to add : long bridle, no mods on a Javelin style rig, pack grommet to pin.
  15. Either way, his peers won't let him live this one down. I'm sure every cop in his state has seen it.
  16. Not mine. Just a 40. I have a shotgun in reserve if I need a bigger chunk of lead.
  17. Cop came from copper. Nickname recieved by police when they wore long coats with copper buttons. First called coppers, shortened to cop. Jay
  18. Glock 21, 40 calibre with 3 Fifteen round mags..... don't need nothin else.

Its not about the low score on expert.... its the sub 8 scores on beginner that really count!!!
  21. http://www.flybirdman.com/learn/exits.html See the above web page. Has a section on exitting from Cessnas. Jay
  22. It never ceases to amaze me, the things people will post to the entire would, while at the same time filling out a public profile as to negate their anonimity. Holy crap...
  23. Just shared a team pitcher of Molson Canadian. 2 litres of beer each. Topped it off with a Nog and Rum. Feeling good. (edit to fix the obvious spelling mistakes that accompany 2 litres of beer topped with egg nog and rum)
  24. I know there have been some small ones, but too bad there isn't a BASE publication on the level of Skydiving in so much as size and pretty attention grabbing pictures. Sorry, kept that tangent going.
  25. CSPA's mag Canpara has an even stricter approach to BASE jumping and doesn't even publish advertising for manufacturs, course etc. It used to even have a one liner on the credits page saying something to the effect of "CSPA does not support or opposes base jumping. Canpara does not advertise BASE equipment or publish BASE photos." The reasoning was something about the sport not fallling in line with the Associations guidelines for conducting a parachute jump. Essentially the altitude and dual parachute requirements. Works for me.
