OK, this maybe covered in another thread but where are the best places to watch the take off as well as the landing. I saw STS-3 and now I'd like to see it with my kids!!

We could... But I think the entire Western conference would have something to say about that... (PS. I know what you mean. That Caps/Pens series last year was great!!)

Yeah, I think he did as well. I think it's a pretty cool article.

Malfunction/Cutaway & Ground Crash Video

In Canada, it's 50 jumps. The Technical Recommendation indicates that a B CoP (certificate of proficiency) is required. You can get a B CoP after 50 jumps - along with number of other requirements. -
Go Sens! K, now being realistic, I would have to give Pens the edge in that one. But might go late into the series - maybe even 7. In the East, I think top 4 make it to round 2. Pittsburgh beat Washington and Jersey beats Buffalo in the semis. Pittsburgh beats Jersey in the Conference finals. In the West, I pick Detroit, Los Angeles, San Jose and Chicago. Detroit and San Jose make it to the Conference finals with Detroit winning. That's right!! Get ready for Detroit/Pittsburgh v3.0 in the Stanley Cup finals!! Pittsburgh in 5.

Taken 9 yrs ago... Still my favourite picture!

Yeah, it really is the best. You can easily transition from downplanes back to side by sides and the grip is rock solid. It's also nice because it is easy to retighten the grips. After a few high tension moves, just fly side by side and readjust. In a downplane, the person with the outer grip just relaxes their legs and the tension is lost causing you to split apart. I really helps when the outside grip has longer legs. It makes it much more comfortable (at least in my opinion anyways)

I have attached a couple of photos. Sorry for the quality. I think the best photo is gav_cyr2. I think it shows the best of what it looks like.

Ummm....not quite correct. Bush has been in Canada since he left office... Canada is about as foreign as he better go, if you really call that foreign. http://hiscrivener.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/jesus-land.gif Facts aren't really that important to you, are they? If you have a point to make, make it. If not, keep teh ad hominem rhetoric going. OK. Here's my point. Bush has travelled internationally...FACT If either travelled further than that, neither would be arrested and sent to the Hague...FACT. Neither have been indicted on war crimes....neither is wanted in any capacity that would preclude them from travelling outside the US. Are you aware of any outstanding warrants or indictments that await either Bush or Cheney if they leave the US?

sniff... This is a proud moment. Now Canada has it's own version of kallend vs mnealtx. An occassion worth celebrating!!!

Does the third party liability insurance that you receive with your USPA membership cover you outside the US? I'm guessing not... I ask because I've seen Canadian DZs refuse people with USPA membership (ie. require that they sign up for CSPA membership) because of the issue with third party liability coverage.

Sadly, it was developed by a 'private software development shop'...a company that I used to work for until I was so disgusted by the whole fiasco that I quit 5 months after starting...

Dead Marine's father ordered to pay protesters' legal costs
pbwing replied to lost_n_confuzd's topic in Speakers Corner
Based on history, it would appear it would have been dismissed. Okay, so if he had been let off the hook by the tribunal with the argument he gave, then how the hell would the provincial government ever silence anyone's section 13 violation, fine them, and award damages as provided in the CHRA without exposing the whole process as capricious? I don't think 'the argument that he gave' had any bearing on the complaintant dropping the issue. Nor would it have had any bearing on what the Commissioner ruled. No matter how offensive Levant wanted to be, (in my opinion) it would have not meet the criteria for Section 13. Republishing those cartoons had nothing to do with hate or hate messages. Also, it's my opinion that this whole process would not have made it out of the discovery phase (which is what Levant was taping). I honestly believe the investigators would not have enough to continue the complaint. -

Not according to the Chief Commissioner of the Alberta Human Rights Commission. "Firstly, I would like to point out that no one is ever “hauled” before a Commission investigator. Individuals who have had a complaint made against them are invited to respond in person or in writing to the allegations of the complainant. This opportunity is provided to ensure fairness in the process." -

There was never a case. (Strong hint, video cameras are not allowed in Canadian court rooms) Sorry, does the Levant inquisition set any kind of precedent in Canada? Nope. And it was hardly an inquisition. He was invited to attend the meeting with the Human Rights Commission. There was a complaint that was filed, he responded to the complaint and the matter was dropped. It's just that he is such a fucking douche bag, he had the make the biggest deal out of the situation that he could. -
HA! Poll: Pot... I thought the same thing as well...

You'll never get the WBC to assault anyone. This has been their schtick for years. Phelps has taught his children well. They protest in the most outward manner possible in order to draw negative attention to themselves. They hope that local government will act to silence them, then they sue. Also, they hope someone will take a swing at them as well so they can sue them. She even mentions this in the original article. The money they recoup from this event will go to fund the church in other ways. All along in the history of WBC, this means that money will in essense pay the Phelps family. Sure they are despicable assholes, but thats the trade off for free speech. -
Sure...they posted the pic of the 2 guys, but not the 2 girls!?!!? WTF?
