Does your neighbor have a mail slot in his front door? If so, then go over to his house and stick a waterhose (preferably his) in it and turn it on full blast. Do this right after you tack the note about a firebomb (next time his fuckin' dog barks) to his door with an Icepick! This should solve your problem in one of two ways...either your neighbor will be scared shitless, and comply with this request, or (more likely) he'll find out who did it, and you'll have a nice quiet room at the county jail! What should one expect to pay for a good used rig? I'm thinking along the lines of a Wings (preferably) or an Infinity, with a Spectre 210 main and a 210 reserve (any good reserve). Oh, and cypres equipped. Talked with Western Parachute today and Ralph quoted 4k for all new gear (which I think is a great price, but a little too much to invest in a first rig) Shit!!! I have to agree with Quade. Square one will be your best for getting what you need . Besides, when you have one of the best gear stores in the business at your home DZ why go anywhere else? Phree - 6 seconds is my rule too. However, my first jump on a 230 Spectre at Perris was with w/ a Jim Wallace coach and he advised me to give the Spectre an 8 count before chopping. Would've been nice if he'd reminded me to deploy a little higher too. Ohhhhhhhhh, my ass puckered hard!
