the prezzie was just a pawn, just like the bush-man. those guys are untouchable, for now anyway. i still think he will get off or plead it down to something murky, ambiguous......and pardonable. I KNEW the chinese were gonna have the last word. truth be told, I was surprised how beat up Jack looked. they really fucked him up. when Logan and Martha were about to do it a buddy of mine said "oh no, this is worse than the violence." We all had a pretty good giggle.
  2. Damnit, Remi.....I've got work I HAVE to get done this afternoon.
  3. Hang in there, Chuck. Thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery from pain and that the tumor is benign. Be well, my friend.

  7. What about a Luau? Those kinda things rock. The shirts, the food, the game where you lower your back and slide under the pole-thingey-do.
  8. *** As bad as when Hannibal Lechter feeds Ray Liotta his own brains...stir fry! for me, Hopkins as Lecter has always been silly. Check out Brian Cox's Lecter in Manhunter.
  9. I'll vouch for that! Hey, it's hard for me to keep my mouth shut for too long. And NO, I do NOT make "noise" when I eat. Ok, that much noise.

  11. and the prescription is MORE cowbell. sorry, couldn't resist.
  12. Irreversible (Gaspar Noe, 2002) is one of the most emotionally brutal films ever made, bar none. The whole point that guy is going off in that underground club is because his gf, a radiant Monica Belluci, is brutally sodomized. To add another layer of irony (and brilliant casting), she is his wife in real life. Anyway, the film film's narrative is told in reverse, and not as a gimmick either. The ending, or rather the beginning, is sublime. check it out...if you dare.
  13. That way he can Shoot me before I do something Stupid like Get Married and it will not hurt much. One shot.. To the head. Quick and painless Please... (Unlike Marriage!) you been watchin The Deer Hunter again?
  14. I don't get it. I always hit my irons straight and with appropriate loft, but my drives always push right and I suckity-suck-suck at putting. Translation? I have a great time whenever I play.
  15. she was lucky (and grateful) to be with you instead of alone in some cage. You did good, sweetie. congrats on getting your knees back in the breeze.

  17. er, uh.......since most of my friends don't let me choose movies anymore, I almost have to go myself. I belive their thoughts can be summed up by "too much weird shit". Oh yeah, and I am a film snob; just ask Krisanne.
